I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was not only beautiful but thoughtfully and intentionally designed; every detail contributed to a relaxing and comfortable experience. It’s clear that the host put a lot of care into creating a welcoming environment. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

Luxe sea view eco-cottage at Gin Distillery

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing. Close to the nicest beaches on the island and several waterfalls/rivers. Amber has done a great job putting together a guidebook to ensure you locate the places you want to visit. The location feels secluded and at night you hear the waves crashing. There's also a mini mart at the corner (5 min walk) and plenty of restaurants in the area. Don't forget to try the local fruit stands too. Amber is also proactive host and always responded within minutes. If you plan on visiting places in the Northern part of the island this is an ideal stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone coming to Dominica.

Humming Bird Haven

What a gem. Top air bnb stay for me. Stunning beauty, surrounded by nature with sounds images cannot depict. The house itself, is so creatively and solidly made. Close to lots of local attractions (falls/hikes/hots springs) and the capital Roseau is a short drive down the hill. I stayed in 4 different locations in Dominica and this was my favorite. A perfect place to meditate and connect with the earth. There seemed to be a magic in the air here as I was in sync with nature and everything seemed to just fall into place. Hard to explain- but if you are going to Dominica and even considering staying her. Do yourself the favor and stay here. Even though I did not get a chance to meet the hosts (I was only there 2 nights), they were communicative and directions/instructions were easy to follow. When I return to Dominica, I will return to this heavenly retreat!

Paradise Ridge Loft

We loved our stay at Monlights! It's the perfect place to stay in Dominica. The location is up in the mountains surrounded by trees, flowers, and birds with amazing views of the ocean and rainforest and its only a quick drive from the town of Portsmouth, that has lots of restaurants. We enjoyed taking easy day trips from the house to explore the island and the pool was a great amenity to use after a long day of exploring. The AC in the bedrooms worked really well and the smart TV with Netflix was perfect for movie nights. If we find ourselves back in Dominica, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Kubawi Beach Cottage

We loved our week here! Sitting on the balcony listening to or watching the ocean, only feet from the waters edge was idyllic! The house has a beach hut vibe, and we loved the quirky aspects, such as washing up outside the window where the sink was mounted, and showering underneath the house- especially convenient for coming in sandy! Clarkey has put a stong fan in the mezzanine and we had no trouble sleeping, though during the day we didnt sit up there, as it does get hot. The house is well equipped, for two or three people, everything is very cosy- which we loved. I would not recommend this lovely place for small children or older people ( we are in our 60's- so not old!) as the stairs, inside and out, might be tricky- but fun for those of us who still have knees and balance! The parking space is very handy, though care must be taken as its close to the wall edge. We managed it! If, like us, you prefer something a little different, and love the sea, this is perfect!

Easily the best trip of my life. I want to thank Melissa and Andy for making my Fiancé and I feel like family. The food was incredible - healthy and delicious. Melissa is an incredible chef. I wish I got to spend more time with Andy and Melissa because they are so incredible and interesting. I enjoyed hearing about their adventures. Scooby the cat and Socks the dog were also very sweet. I am so thankful for this experience and want to come back. If you are wondering where you should stay in Dominica stay here. 10/10. Loved it. I wish I could’ve stayed there.

Papaya Creek

Large apartment on the 2nd floor of a chalet open to nature surrounded by rivers with a large balcony, not overlooked, crossing the heights of Roseau halfway to the waterfalls, lakes, hot springs and hiking. Very well equipped for cooking, a large fridge and freezer, oven... the beds are comfortable and equipped with mosquito nets, the bathroom is beautiful and opens onto the greenery, Host always gives good advice and is proactive. It's exotic, refreshing and relaxing to live here and sleep lulled by the waterways. Please note that the apartment is above a canyoning base, we were there at the end of May so out of season and we were very little disturbed, one morning out of 4, because the excursions start in the morning at 7 a.m., and only the floor separates us from the base. So it can be very noisy! Having been warned by the comments, we had planned to use earplugs to reduce the noise. Off-season, we were delighted!
