Vacation rentals in Northern Forest Reserve

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was not only beautiful but thoughtfully and intentionally designed; every detail contributed to a relaxing and comfortable experience. It’s clear that the host put a lot of care into creating a welcoming environment. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing. Close to the nicest beaches on the island and several waterfalls/rivers. Amber has done a great job putting together a guidebook to ensure you locate the places you want to visit. The location feels secluded and at night you hear the waves crashing. There's also a mini mart at the corner (5 min walk) and plenty of restaurants in the area. Don't forget to try the local fruit stands too. Amber is also proactive host and always responded within minutes. If you plan on visiting places in the Northern part of the island this is an ideal stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone coming to Dominica.

Le logement est encore mieux que sur les photos ! Impeccable, tout les services étaient là, même un petit plus pour le petit déjeuner. Même si nous n’avons pas rencontrée l’hôte elle nous a très bien accompagnée à distance tout le long du séjour. Pro active dans les renseignements et réponds vite avec flexibilité Le logement est idéalement situé pour découvrir le nord et le sud de l’île sur un court séjour Merci beaucoup

What a gem. Top air bnb stay for me. Stunning beauty, surrounded by nature with sounds images cannot depict. The house itself, is so creatively and solidly made. Close to lots of local attractions (falls/hikes/hots springs) and the capital Roseau is a short drive down the hill. I stayed in 4 different locations in Dominica and this was my favorite. A perfect place to meditate and connect with the earth. There seemed to be a magic in the air here as I was in sync with nature and everything seemed to just fall into place. Hard to explain- but if you are going to Dominica and even considering staying her. Do yourself the favor and stay here. Even though I did not get a chance to meet the hosts (I was only there 2 nights), they were communicative and directions/instructions were easy to follow. When I return to Dominica, I will return to this heavenly retreat!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est magnifique, l'agencement est bien pensé, il y a tout à disposition pour se sentir à l'aise. Les paysages des différentes terrasses sont justes incroyables et dépaysant. Le logement situé en hauteur est plutôt ventilé, ce qui a très agréable. Je le conseille à toute personne qui souhaite vivre un moment de bonheur intense et de sérénité. L'hôte a été super accueillante et réactive. Elle nous a conseillé des endroits et des événements festifs qui avaient lieu durant notre séjour. Après la découverte de l'île, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine avec ces jets relaxants, ce qui était très appréciable. Durant les temps de pluie, nous avons pu même profiter de moments de jeux sociétés... Vraiment un espace de paradis, nous le recommandons et reviendrons avec plaisir prochainement avec certitude.

We loved our week here! Sitting on the balcony listening to or watching the ocean, only feet from the waters edge was idyllic! The house has a beach hut vibe, and we loved the quirky aspects, such as washing up outside the window where the sink was mounted, and showering underneath the house- especially convenient for coming in sandy! Clarkey has put a stong fan in the mezzanine and we had no trouble sleeping, though during the day we didnt sit up there, as it does get hot. The house is well equipped, for two or three people, everything is very cosy- which we loved. I would not recommend this lovely place for small children or older people ( we are in our 60's- so not old!) as the stairs, inside and out, might be tricky- but fun for those of us who still have knees and balance! The parking space is very handy, though care must be taken as its close to the wall edge. We managed it! If, like us, you prefer something a little different, and love the sea, this is perfect!

Le logement de Mélissa est vraiment magnifique , il donne sur une petite rivière privée et apporte une grande relaxation. Il y fait frais la nuit et la climatisation n’est pas nécessaire. Au réveil, il y a une vue sur la forêt, le bruit des oiseaux et une grande tranquillité . C’est l’un des plus bel airbnb que je n’ai jamais fait ! Mélissa est une cheffe cuisinière incroyable, elle propose des petits dejeuner, dejeuner , dîner succulent. J’y retournerai juste pour le plaisir de rester dans le logement, profiter de la nature environnante, de l’eau fraîche potable provenant du logement et des bons repas de Mélissa. Je ne peux que recommander à 100%. L’accès se fait par tirolienne et ce côté un peu aventureux m’a beaucoup plu. Mélissa et son conjoint explique tout ce qu’il faut savoir et l’accès se fait en toute sécurité.

Grand appartement au 2e étages d'un chalets ouverts sur la nature entourée de rivières avec un grand balcon, sans vis à vis, traversant sur les hauteurs de Roseau à mi chemin vers les cascades, les lacs, sources d'eau chaude et randonnée. Très bien équipé pour cuisiner, un grand frigidaire et congélateur, four... les lits sont confortables et équipés de moustiquaires, la salle de bain est magnifique ouverte sur la verdure, Hôte toujours de bon conseil et proactif. C'est dépaysant, rafraîchissant et reposant de vivre ici et dormir bercé par les cours d'eau. Attention l'appartement est au dessus d'une base de canyoning, nous étions là fin mai donc hors saisons et nous avons était très peu dérangé soit un matin sur 4, car les excursions commencent le matin à 7h, et seul le planché nous sépare de la base. Cela peut donc être très bruyant ! Étant averti par les commentaires, nous avions prévu des bouchons d'oreille pour atténuer le bruit. Hors saison, nous avons été enchanté !
