Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Northern Europe

This airb&b was AMAZING! Views were incredible. Host was great and responded quickly and we rented a car from the son which was 40€ per day. Host arranged someone to meet us at the port and showed us to our room. Truly, the only downfall was that the bed was incredibly firm (one of the worst beds I’ve slept in) but the views totally made it worth it! We felt very safe and would definitely stay again!

The location could not have been more perfect - an amazing space! The balcony view and unobstructed views of the sea, people jumping off the cliffs, the sunsets, the direct access to the path that lead to the Via dell’Amore, etc. was nothing short of spectacular. The apartment is comfortable, the bathroom has clearly been recently renovated, the dual air conditioning units, and little details like WiFi access and USB outlets at the bedside stand made this a perfect space to stay while in Riomaggiore. Elena was responsive, helpful, and friendly. Zero hesitation staying here the next time we return and look forward to recommending this to others who are planning travels to Riomaggiore/5terre. Very nice apartment on the 1st floor. Location can't be beat. Steps from the bus stop that will get you anywhere and on a main street so shopping, food, and grocery all there too. Nice private patio out back. Only 2 things to mention. The shower is microscopic. Not anything too out of the ordinary for parts of Europe, but if you're big you probably won't fit well. There was one very tiny bottle of shower gel left which maybe good for 1 and at best 2 showers. Leaving more would be nice else you'll be buying your own. Only other thing was, as advertised, there is a washing machine and dryer which is rare for Europe. However detergant isn't provided so it is useless to have them else you have to go out to buy soap and that defeats the point in my opinion. Unfortunitly I really needed the laundry which is why I had picked this place. Other than that everything was perfect.

The place is stunning and quiet, with a breathtaking view and total privacy. The host is very friendly and kind, and helped with every problem quickly and efficiently (does not speak English but it was not a problem at all). We had a great experience, and hope to come back soon Highly recommended. Suitable for smokers only, as smoking in the cabin is allowed, and it is noticeable

What a place and experience! Nataša was fantastic, meeting us at apt and answering ALL questions. Recommendations enhanced experience. The view might give you reason not to explore Dubrovnik but it only gets better. Leaving with wonderful memories!

We loved our stay so much we extended for another two nights! The area is very private so make sure you have a rental car and purchase groceries. Lots of cute towns close by but nothing within walking distance. The pool was great and we almost had the place to ourselves. The second two days had more guests around which was nice as well. The hosts were lovely and friendly and available for any questions. Great spot!

Amazing location!! Amazing apartment!! We loved every second of our stay here and would definitely recommend it. Beautiful views of the ocean and delicious restaurants super close by. 10/10.

There are no words to describe the kindness and helpfulness of Mrs. Maria Teresa; a wonderful creature who loves animals as most people should. The property is absolutely perfect for what my needs were. Very clean, very comfortable mattresses, complete with everything you needed (from detergent to extra virgin olive oil made by them), including a beach umbrella, beach towels and even new slippers for the whole family. What can I say, people should take an example from this girl on how to run a B&B. I hope to return soon. 💛

Dear Danielle and Christian, Thank you for the perfect holiday we spent in your beautifully build and sophisticated designed ‘casita’. The flowers scented so nice and the birds were singing to us every day while we were enjoying the view, the different seats in and outside and of course the jacuzzi and once in a while your lovely company. The surrounding nature and villages etc were beautiful. We slept like never before and we hope to take this special energy home ;-) Big hugs and we hope to return x

This place was amazing , we fell In love with it , to be able to swim every day ( several times a day )was a joy , the bay is stunning , surrounded by mountains it is purely magical. The apartment is as described , compact but has everything you need , we were very happy there . The private area for sunbathing and swimming has such amazing views we were blown away . The location is about 20 min drive to Kotor old town and around 20 mins drive to Perast , the road is busy but for us it didnt distract from the location at all , there is a nice little beach bar a couple of minute walk along the road and a restaurant opposite ( we didn’t use the restaurant as it is a meat and fish restaurant and we are veggies , but the beach bar was great . We hired a car and this allowed us to get out and about and explore the stunning area , although I think there are buses that go past regularly . Jovica and family are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou for the beers and cakes ?

We loved our stay so much! Beautiful house and surroundings :) Borgo Val Di Taro is also a cute village to visit for ice cream, food and a good playground for our small kids! Thanks a lot for everything! We wish to come back in the future!

We have been to many countries so far. We visited Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Bułgaria, Canada,France but this place is the best . The house is very comfortable, cosy ,well equipped and it has its unique style.The garden is beautifull. We will always remember amazing sunsets and sunrises, the birds drinking water from the pool, the scent od flowers and plants.We used the pool few times a day. It was cleaned regulary. Kostas is a great host. We do appreciate his kindnese, care, generosity and hospitality. He gave us advice what is worth seeng, visiting. He even went with us to the town to do shopping. Kostas showed where we should buy the best vegetables, fruit, jest. Whatever you need he is always for you. Don't hesitate, just come to Dafni and spend gorgeous holidays.

We had a very nice and relaxing time at Michel's place. The host, Michel, is very responsive and really strives to make sure his guests are having the best experience possible. The little house has everything you could need for a week stay- washing machine, equipped kitchen, space for your clothes and items. Despite the space being quite small, they do a good job at optimizing the space. The area is picturesque and you feel you have good privacy since the house is well positioned. The only thing small thing to mention is that the ceilings are low, which for my case, despite not being super tall (180cm) I hit my head several times. I learned slowly to duck and maneuver, but for just a weeks stay, I left with a few bruises. Overall, I'd recommend fully the stay with Michel.

Alfredo’s Airbnb, Atollo, is a dream. I was hesitant to stay in such an isolated location as a solo female traveler, but upon reading all the positive reviews, I went for it, and I am SO GLAD I did. While you do have to hike there (bring sneakers), I always felt safe and in complete awe and peace thanks to the beauty around me. The Airbnb has everything you need for a comfortable and restful experience. The hammocks overlooking the sea and distant Aeolian Islands, and the cross when lit at night, gives the most peace and relaxation. I traveled solely by foot. Getting down to town level is STEEP, so you need good knees or able to drive a car or scooter expertly. It’s also a walk to Lipari or Canneto so you may want a taxi or bus if going by foot. Alfredo is an extremely kind and gracious host. Taking me to and from the port and to get groceries upon arrival. I hope to return many times here. Thank you again 🤗❤️

Where to start... prior to our arrival she provided her information so she could help pick us up with our bags and give us a personal tour. She treats her home with pride and her guests like family. Giovanna and her family all helped make our stay memorable and comfortable. She was flexible with us since we had a late wedding to attend and really cared about us personally. She remembers the little details like what you like for breakfast and even wished my husband a happy birthday. The view is beautiful, the room is cozy, her food is made with love and my heart is so full. My husband and I left feeling so cared for. Everyone is respectful of space and Giovanna is just a lovely person I hope to visit again. If you want an ordinary experience go elsewhere but if you want something extraordinary visit Giovanna <3

The location is very convenient — the metro is right under the building. All the necessary shops, cafes, and restaurants are nearby. The Eiffel Tower is about a 20–25 minute walk away. The kitchen, bathroom, and rooms were clean, with all the necessary amenities and even more. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there’s a fan in case it gets hot — and it was hot! The host was incredibly responsive — we communicated in broken English, but still managed to understand each other and sort everything out. Check-in was easy, everything works with access codes, super simple. The place matches the description and is definitely worth the price!

Carmen’s place was so lovely. Very spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable! Was easy to find and check in was a very easy process. Carmen was accommodating and even allowed us to drop our bags at the apartment early. Carmen offered great recommendations for local restaurants and tips for travelling in the area. I would stay again and would recommend to others!

Endrit's apartment was perfect for us as 2 couples. The roof terrace was perfect in the hot weather & we spent quite a bit of time out there. Little out of town but really easy transport links, and there were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The small shop right next to the apartment was very handy. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Tirana. Endrit was a fantastic host!

We immediately fell in love with this property. Everything here makes up the image that can be made of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. At the top of the hill overlooking the valley, the view is splendid and romantic. The property has been renovated with today's comforts while retaining its soul of yesteryear. You feel good there, the energy is beneficial, nature, animals, everything is in harmony! The welcome, Oscar's cooking, the superb swimming pool, the shaded terrace, the hearty homemade breakfasts! It's more than a favorite, this place is a gem! We'll be back!

If you’re after the beauty of the Amalfi coast without the crowds then come to Praiano. I agree with so many of the other reviews about the scenery, helpful friendly hosts, apartment and town. I would recommend to others and revisit myself.

The apartment rented by Naoki is truly unique. The terrace alone deserves five stars.

Great place to stay communication between Claudio was excellent from the start. The apartment was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. The apartment isn't suitable for disabled people as there are quite a few stairs up to it but once you get up the views across the roof tops are lovely with a truly rustic feel. We had a amazing time and Thank Claudio and Irene for all their help .
