On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
