Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Northern Europe

Ich kann gar nicht in Worte fassen, wie schön diese Unterkunft ist. Ich finde, die Bilder werden dem süßen Häuschen absolut nicht gerecht. Es war einfach nur herrlich. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren einwandfrei. Noch bestechender war nur der Garten mit all den Tieren und Pflanzen. Schöner könnte man es nicht malen. Wir konnten uns Glück kaum fassen. Was man allerdings wissen sollte, die Frösche können einem nachts schon etwas den Schlaf rauben, wenn man den Sound nicht gewöhnt ist. Bei der Ankunft bekamen wir nette Tipps für schöne Spaziergänge, die wir auch direkt umsetzen. Die Landschaft ist einfach nur traumhaft schön. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll und ausreichend. Abendessen in der Windmühle top. Wir werden bestimmt oft mit Fernweh auf diesen Aufenthalt zurückblicken.

This is the most magical place we’ve ever stayed. The owners invite you to stay in the castle where they live and you are transported to another place and time. The hospitality, the breakfast, the beautiful rooms, the charcuterie and wine on the terrace over the moat, the garden and access to the paths on the grounds: the ambience of the entire place is off the charts. My favorite part might be the mural filled with birds, flowers, butterflies and other creatures in all four seasons painted by the owner. It fills all four walls of a dining room! The whole experience is one you’ll always treasure.

Merci infiniment pour ce court arrêt!!! Nous avions tellement de chose à faire que le temps nous a rattrapé!!! Votre endroit est tout simplement magnifique!!! Vous avez fait de cette église, un endroit paisible… et surtout avec deux adorable amis de compagnie… qui, ma conjointe serait partie avec !!! Merci pour le petit déjeuner qui était aussi excellent!!! Je le recommande sans hésiter!!! Un jour, qui sait, nous reviendrons et pourrons faire encore plus connaissance!!!

I honestly couldn’t fault one thing about this stay. Ada truely made you feel like a part of the family and we were sad to leave! Breakfast every morning was delicious and had a beautiful outlook to the ocean. Ada is a beautiful soul and her place reflected that, everything was so well thought out, the view was magnificent and she gave us lots of great recommendations for the area. Hopefully we are able to come back!!

Amazing place that we didn't want to leave, peaceful, quiet and great hosting and fresh eggs, jams and bread made by Tatiana It just was great staying, I enjoyed every time to drive up the hill to our cabin and the view from the bed is priceless also a lot to hike around without taking the car out Go Tatiana's place you won't regret

Het was helemaal geweldig. Tweede keer dat we bij Sandra verblijven en zeker niet de laatste keer!

We stayed three nights at Evert's apartment. It is in a great location and communication and check in with Evert was easy. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has a view over the canal. There are lots of interesting books to read and we loved the one afternoon listening to the violin lesson below. It all added to the character. The Italian restaurant around the corner which also has a seperate pizza cafe was well worth eating at.

Ein echter Glücksgriff! Das Haus liegt am Ende der steilen Straße, nichts für Lauf-Faule ;) aber schon der Weg offenbart die wunderbare Aussicht! Die Gastgeberin und ihr Sohn sind sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (Danke nochmal für die ganz flexiblen Frühstückszeiten 🤲). Die Wohnung unter dem Dach ist sehr gemütlich, man kann sich das Abendessen auch in den Garten tragen und dort mit bester Aussicht genießen. Der Garten toppt jede Unterkunft, die ich bisher besucht habe. Vom Haus aus kann man direkt in den Wald wandern, klettern, Gleitschirm fliegen oder die vielen kleinen Orte am See besuchen und schwimmen, dazu ist man am besten mit dem Auto unterwegs. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Märkte gibt es in der Nähe reichlich. Wir waren wirklich begeistert und haben es sehr genossen, bei euch zu sein.

Deborah a été adorable avec nous, et nous a parfaitement accueilli dans sa sublime maison. La literie était incroyable, après 15 jours de voyage en van, c'était un comfort bien apprécié. Ses chiens Banjo et Hudson sont adorables ! Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Deborah a su nous guider selon nos envies de visites dans la ville. On recommande à 100 % !

we hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad. het ontbijt was overvloedig en heerlijk. Het huis ligt op loopafstand tot het centrum. De kamer en badkamer zijn mooi ruim. Mieke en Erwin doen er alles aan om het zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. we hebben genoten. gr.Robert

Thank you very much, we felt very comfortable in the beautiful accommodation, everything is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, plus you have a wonderful view of the meadows and the coast from the windows. The breakfast was also excellent, so everything was as good as you could wish for. The accommodation is very well located for seeing the many sights in the north of the Isle of Skye.

We had a wonderful stay at Thornton Castle! The home as a whole, the Blue Room and the guests' sitting room are beautifully decorated, and a lot of thought and care have gone into providing guests with everything they might need, including information about the castle, games, books, and magazines. We thoroughly enjoyed playing some tennis, and the breakfast Griselda provided was elaborate and delicious. The surroundings are stunning, and we recommend taking some time to walk the Rocks of Solitude route, and visit Glamis castle. Only 2 hours away from Edinburgh, this Airbnb is the perfect base for a weekend getaway!

Super clean, calm and comfortable stay. I loved the long haired cows in the backyard.

Vi er lige kommet hjem efter at have boet hos Robert på "Il Gallo"i fem dage. Det har været et virkeligt skønt ophold i fantastisk smukke og hyggelige omgivelser og vi er blevet forkælet med dejlig morgenmad, gode råd om ture i nærområdet og mulighed for at slappe af og nyde roen på dette helt specielle sted. Vi giver både sted og vært vores bedste anbefalinger.

La habitación es igual que en las fotos, incluso mejor!! Un sitio perfecto para desconectar no solo por el entorno sino tambien por lo bonita que es la habitación. Laura ha sido muy atenta, con una muy buena comunicación toda la estancia. Repetiriamos mil veces, y animamos a la gente que vaya de escapada porque nos ha encantado.

This Old School is a wonderful place. Wilma and Ian are very engaging and made us feel so ‘at home’. The surrounding area is so peaceful and quiet and would serve as an excellent retreat if you chose a few night’s stay. What an awesome couple!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, super Ort um sich zu erholen. Zudem merkt man wie viel Liebe Felix und Natascha in die Unterkunft gesteckt haben, es ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wenn wir fragen hatten waren die beiden jederzeit erreichbar und antworteten schnell. Man darf auch die Schafe auf der Koppel besuchen und streicheln was mich und meine Begleitung sehr gefreut haben. Nachmittags haben uns die Katzen besucht die natürlich auch eine Streicheleinheit haben wollten. Alles in allem war es eine wundervolle Erfahrung und wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

A beautiful place to stay , with so many extras , felt totally private and loved the use of the outdoor seating area and hot tub . Both me & my wife said it had been one of our favourites, note to others book somewhere to eat if travelling at the weekend. The only ‘extras’ we d of liked would have been robes & slippers but that said that’s being picky . A beautiful find .

The place was amazing, perfect view of mountains, super clean and great breakfast. The host was super kind and helpful, she spoke both Italian and fluent English. Really loved the stay totally worth the price and highly recommend it!

Uns fehlte es an absolut gar nichts, Nicholas war ein hervorragender Gastgeber, wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und haben das stilvolle Ambiente sehr genossen. Nicholas seinen Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten und Restaurants waren super hilfreich und haben unseren Geschmack auf den Punkt getroffen. Wir kommen irgendwann wieder an diesen wunderschönen Ort zurück. Herzliche Grüße S&C

It was such a peaceful stay, in such a beautiful place. Felt right at home 🥰

Gabrielle’s bnb was fantastic! Beautifully located in the Chianti country side, you are super close to incredible vineyards, restaurants, etc. The views are stunning, the pool is perfect, breakfast was great every day, and the entire property just feels dreamy. If we came back to this region I would gladly stay again.

Un petit cocon paradisiaque en plein coeur du bourg de Bréhat : le magnifique jardin havre de paix ; la chienne qui vient nous dire bonjour le matin , le petit déjeuner XXL au soleil avec le chant des oiseaux ... . La chambre est petite mais très confortable et bien décorée , le seul bémol est le rideau plastique de séparation de la chambre avec la douche et les WC : pas fonctionnel ni efficace , un simple rideau tissu serait plus pratique . Idéal pour une ou deux nuits car on ne peut pas trop cuisiner , bien qu'il y ait un micro ondes et une bouilloire , mais nous n'en avions pas besoin car nous avions de la famille dans un autre gite sur l'île et il y a de nombreux restaurants dans le bourg . Bref, une excellente adresse sur cette île que je connais bien mais qui me ravit toujours autant à chaque séjour !

We spent a very pleasant 10 days at Salvo and his parents place. After exploring the beautiful surrounding towns, we were able to spend time in the garden or cool off in the sea, to which there is direct access. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. An ideal place for a quiet vacation in Sicily.
