Manly ferries will take you to the city, the zoo, Watsons Bay, Darling Harbour. Bus connections available to Palm Beach and the city from Brookvale. You can easily and conveniently get around without the need of a car. An Uber to Manly is approximately $8 to $10 depending on time of week. Girls if you are in heels (I walk down to Manly in thongs and hide them in a bush ready for the walk back home). Freshwater Beach & Village are easy walking distance with access via local stairs. There is busses to Barrenjoey Lighthouse/Palm Beach, Manly, Brookvale and Sydney CBD. Ask about the beautiful coastal bushwalks and whale watching lookouts. You can expect a visiting kookaburra, Koel or other native birds in the still of the morning. Don’t be surprised if you see a possum at night or if you are very lucky a leaf tailed gecko.
