Lodge overnight in comfort & style in our furnished platform Safari Tents in a perfect tree meadow on the bluffs overlooking the bay and Shelter Island with sunsets 2nd to none. For 2022, we have 12 tents with queen beds and linens. Tents are covered with large rain flies that make a covered porch for the Adirondack Chairs.

Enjoy the beautiful NY evenings and get away from it all with a campfire and tent under the stars. You’ll have a shower/toilet shed and campfire area to enjoy as well as the specious, 16’ tent and a gorgeous view! We are minutes from Sharon Springs and 25 minutes to Cooperstown. We have bedding, towels and blankets but bring your favorite pillows and water. Our goal is to provide you with all the necessities and a place to make memories. We live on the property but you’ll have complete privacy.

Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead, or relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores and cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire, then snuggle up inside the tipi while you listen to vintage vinyl and let the owls hoot you to sleep. *Tipi closed March-April.

The tipi comes with a wooden floor on the part where you sleep. There is the possibility of lighting a wood fire to enhance your evenings. The wood needed for a stay is provided, for an extra wood an additional charge will be requested. possibility of lighting a common fire to simply spend an evening around the fire watching the stars. Enjoy the surrounding nature our teepee has to offer whether you're enjoying your morning cup of coffee or sitting around the campfire with your family and friends. Our teepee is located minutes away from Darien Lake State Park and also Darien Lake Theme Park.
