Vacation rentals with lake access in Northeastern United States

A truly magical escape. This sacred treehouse was absolutely perfect - peaceful, stunning, and deeply rejuvenating. Rob and Roberta were the kindest, most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Their warmth made the experience even more special. From sunbathing on the rocks and meditating in the grass, to yoga overlooking the water and cooking local organic meals - every moment was magic. Already planning my return. Thank you, Roberta and Rob!!

It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, I recommend it, and it is very clean which is one of the most important things about a place.

Truly a five star experience. We had such a wonderful time here; the location is great, serene, quiet. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen and living room space with a beautiful private view. Fiber internet was surprisingly fast relative to our expectations for such a rural area. Next time we need a space in the area we'll stay here without hesitation.

we had a lovely time at Seth’s cottage by the river. Everything was very well appointed and comfortable. I think the beds were the best I’ve had an Airbnb. There was easy access to new Paltz and kingston. I have no hesitation in recommending Seth’s place.

Well equipped, clean, functional space. Back porch and patio is fantastic for expanding the space and ease of entertainment. Caught some pretty good catfish and carp right off the back stairs/landing. Convenient to many amenities with easy access from rt159 and rt57.

What a beautiful, cozy, peaceful play to stay! It was so relaxing. We spent the first afternoon hanging out by the creek and walking around the pond. The next day after checkout it was an easy drive to Jim Thorpe. There was so much attention to detail in the cottage and on the cottage grounds...multiple peaceful settings in which to relax. A very comfortable experience. Carolyn and Tom were kind and responsive to questions. I plan to come back and stay again!

Wonderful retreat in a beautiful location. The unit was impeccable, attractive, and nicely furnished as part of the owner’s own home. We host our own personal family cabin as a vrbo and were so pleased to receive the same kind of quality and personal care that we offer to our guests. Lynne’s home exudes pride of ownership and special touches (snacks and one very nice breakfast with hosts) were offered to us. I’m their first guest who is vegan; Lynne went above and beyond to make me a tasty oatmeal breakfast. Can’t give enough stars to rate this very attractive, yet affordable, rental unit. Amazing view, great and comfy Airbnb. The hot tub is such a nice plus with the incredible view over the mountains. It was so well equipped we had most of our meals in the Airbnb because the kitchen was so functional. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

We absolutely loved our stay! The scenery was beautiful and so peaceful—it truly felt like a getaway. The canoes were such a fun and unique touch, and we had an amazing time using them. Roy place was amazing! Fantastic view, quiet, cozy, private. All info about surroundings were left in the apartment. Very easy access to this place, and fridge was loaded with home made goodies. Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

Cozy, comfortable and close to town. Lakeside view and only steps to Keuka Lake. Restaurant options within walking distance as well as a nice walking path. Appreciated the coffee options provided by our host for the morning too! Great place!

Suncroft cottage was beautiful. The place has been renovated with care, and it was just the vibe we were looking for for our 3 day getaway from the daily grind. The dirt road that it sits on is very quiet; rarely any cars going by, and the breeze and fresh air rolling off the lake was perfect for a deep sleep. Just being there is therapeutic, and is what we needed. The caretaker is very kind, and is easily reachable if needed, too. Its just a little over a half hour to both Stowe and Burlington, too - so there are many options for day trips and activities - if you even want to leave the serene cottage;) would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. The house was very nice—comfortable, clean, and right by the lake. Peaceful and quiet, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Scott and Joelle were excellent hosts—responsive and easy to communicate with. They made the whole process simple. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful location! My boyfriend and i loved our stay at Matthew’s airbnb. The lake is stunning and we had a great day kayaking. Would definitely book again!

Lori and Mark are great hosts, very quick communication and always ready to answer any question you may have. The cabin was nice and clean and had all the things needed for a great stay. Great kayaks to take to the water. All in all just a great spot to hang out for a few days.

We did a last minute weekend with our 5 and 2 year olds and Catherine’s place was perfect. The bedrooms being upstairs away from the living area meant it was nice and quiet for the kids, they had life jackets in all sizes, and we visited a fun children’s museum 15 mins away. We had a few questions during our stay and Catherine was always quick to respond and super helpful.

I don't usually write reviews, but this stay was exceptional! My friends and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The place was spotless, the kitchen was fully equipped and perfect for our needs, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We all had a fantastic time and are already planning our return. If you're considering a stay here, don't hesitate you'll love it too!
