Vacation rentals with lake access in North West Leicestershire District

We had a lovely stay at John's cottage. It's in a great position for getting out and about. Everywhere was lovely and clean. Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of the cottage as we were only there for 2 nights for a wedding weekend. John gave perfect information and exactly where it was and kept in touch to check everything was ok for us. The perfect host I'd say.

Lauren was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. My request for a birthday cake for one of our party was met with "I can arrange that for you and would you like candles and balloon decorations too." I got the brownie points but Lauren did all the work. The accommodation was beautiful on arrival and it bought on some very happy birthday tears. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard throughout, and it comes with a nice little private garden. The site is wonderful and has everything you could need, from a good breakfast to some lovely walks around fishing lakes. My girls had a wonderful long weekend at Laurens accommodation and,although not home yet, are already planning a return trip. Thanks again Lauren... 5*.

We booked this accommodation for a conference at the NEC in Birmingham. It was very close to a bus stop for the airport & NEC. The accommodation was also very clean. Atena kept us updated and responded quickly to messages. We'd recommend Atena as a host and this accommodation!

We had a great stay at Kingfisher Cottage whilst visiting family. Matt was very responsive and helpful and provided several local recommendations. The location of the cottage next to the river is perfect for a peaceful drink in the evening and our 4 year old enjoyed paddling and watching the cows. Thank you Monika and Matt for a wonderful stay - we'll be back!

We had the best time, the location is perfect for exploring the area including Alderley Edge and the Peak District. The place was amazing, clean and tidy with the best views. The pictures don’t do it justice. Stacey was so friendly and showed us all her lovely animals. We would love to stay again. Thank you

Overall great weekend with family - us, 4 children, wives, partner and 5 grandchildren. Games room was a great success with teenagers and men, probably a bit noisy for the neighbours 😂. Well equipped kitchen but didn’t find instructions for hob and oven until tidying up Sunday night. We’d worked it out between us in the meantime. Could do with a few tips in house manual. Lake and canoe a big hit. Hot tub took over 4 hours to get up to temperature - why wood burning when there is electricity? Beds comfy and all rooms very spacious. Lounge/sunroom fabulous space. We would return if Neil would have us.

We had a fantastic time at Jamie’s house, a group of ladies, celebrating our 60th birthdays. Each room had an en-suite which was a real plus. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had everything we needed. He even provided toiletries and cleaning products. Jamie replied quickly to our questions. A great location, with the large garden and hot tub. The coffee machine was great too! Highly recommended, we hope to return in the near future.

Great stay! Clean apartment with good amounts of space for a small family. Decorated well! Not far from Coventry centre, Coombs national park - everything within 15 mins drive. Easy to get in to with clear instructions. Great Airbnb! Recommend A+++

Jane is a fanatic host, we felt right at home.. we had everything we needed. if we needed anything the host was always so communicative and very friendly. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be staying again. thank you so much Jane.

This is my second time staying at Funke's place within a year. It definitely makes me feel at home. I love that there is driveway parking, the neighborhood is very quiet. It was very cold in England when I visited in January so the heat was working properly and I was very cozy. As long as this property stays available I will be staying here every year when I visit the UK.

Such a Lovely Stay! We had a great weekend here! The place was really cosy and in a perfect spot. The hosts were super friendly and easy to talk to. Communication was smooth, and check-out was really flexible, which made things so much easier. We especially loved sitting by the pond with the friendly ducks — such a peaceful little moment. Would definitely come back again

Lovely, peaceful place on the water with plenty of geese and ducks to keep you company. Great restaurants nearby and easy access to nearby walking trails. A nice little shop for immediate needs like beer, wine, crisps, and bubble wrap for packing. We'll be back!

I lovely location and a well equipped comfortable cottage. There’s lots to do in the area. We would definitely recommend. The alpaca walk was just great !

Nina and I chose Zeta's beautiful cottage for our first trip as a married couple (we got married the day before!) In short, it was the perfect first weekend together. We enjoyed the use of the spa and the serenity of White Chimnies. Zeta was also the best host and went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Nothing was too much to ask and she came highly recommended from my sister and her husband who've stayed twice. 10/10 would recommend! We look forward to returning!

An absolute gem of a place, wonderfully peaceful and in a beautiful location, with the Highland cattle and open fields on one side, and the lovely little Church on the other, well worth popping in to enjoy a quiet moment. The house is well placed for access to many places but sufficiently removed to be able to get away from it all. We would definitely recommend Feast in Congleton for freshly prepared food and a lovely coffee. We have never stayed in a cleaner, more well stocked home from home! David and Ann were lovely, popped in to check everything was OK then gave us space to enjoy the house. Everything was excellent quality, with wonderfully comfortable beds! Reading the guest book there are many repeat visitors and you can absolutely see why people would return time and time again, we certainly hope too.

Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was beautifully maintained, clean and had lovely plants and flowers in the outside area with a well equipped kitchen. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area for our evening meal and breakfast. Whilst there was some noise from the nearby road, it did not take away from our enjoyment of the place. It is located a few minutes from the Coombe Abbey Country park and Kristi our host was helpful and welcoming. We’d definitely be happy to stay again.
