Vacation rentals with a fireplace in North Lanarkshire

Lift or stay here, I came with two teenagers, we went to visit the Kelpies, Falkirk wheel, we jumped on the train. I went to Glasgow and Edinburgh, we drove to the Forth bridge and the Queensferry Crossing- it was a perfect location! The train station was Next Door. We loved our accommodation - I cooked nights, and we had everything that we needed. There was a fabulous welcome hamper which included milk bread and eggs, thank you so much. We extended our stay while we were there, and we would definitely go back and stay again. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay x

I highly recommend this gem for not only a being a perfect place to rest, but also it's in a great location. The owner helped with my rental car too, as he's very knowledgeable about anything engine repair wise and was much appreciated

Stewart was great. We had lost power in the storm and he had two hours notice of our arrival. His home was beautifully kitted out and presented and Stewart was very welcoming and accommodating.

We arrived after a tiring journey and William was there to greet us. He was friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The house was spotless and spacious but with a cosy feel which is just what we wanted for a relaxing stay. It has great public transport with two bus stops very close by. We also were allowed to check out later due to a late flight which was really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and recommend fully.

great location house was lovely and clean and the beds really comfortable great shower and have everything we needed had an initial issue but within mins of messaging host they had called and got it sorted would Def recommend and would have no hesitation is staying again thank you ⭐

We loved this bungalow, it was absolutely perfect for my family’s short trip to visit relatives. The underfloor heating makes it cosy and comfortable, and there is plenty of space in all of the rooms. Everything was clean and fresh, and Monika was the best hostess. She made sure the beds were ready, the fluffy towels were all piled up ready, and the hot tub / spa was filled up ready for a relaxing soak after a long journey. Monika took the time to show us around the property, so that we could see how everything works. We hope very much to come back again in the future, this place will be top of our list!

Stunning spacious duplex apartment with main rooms on the ground floor and bedrooms/ full bathroom down spiral staircase…spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully furnished with all the facilities and utensils you would need. The apartment is in a fabulous location set back from the main street but handy for the west end and city centre….lots of great bars and restaurants nearby but located in a quiet residential neighbourhood beside Kelvingrove park. The lounge is spacious and comfortable and easily sat 6 people. Kitchen was well laid out with everything you would need if you wanted to cook. Utility room also had a third toilet which was handy as well as laundry facilities. An oasis in a stunning period building, handy for all that Glasgow has to offer.

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

Excellent place to stay and feel at home. This is a perfect spot to stay for several days and close to everything. Plenty of space with large rooms and everything you need. Anne was always responsive and there when you needed her which wasn’t much, because everything was already taken care of. Highly recommend!! Easily 5 stars!!

This Airbnb was nice. Nice host. It had a queen sized bed. Nice new carpet in the front room and bedroom. (The pics show hard wood floors. It is carpet now). Nice modern decor. And fresh smelling. There were No musty smells. There were about 10-15 stairs to get up with your luggage and the apartment is thru a gate and behind the building. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Margaret’s place! It was very tidy and homey, and had everything we needed. The parking was good and the location was very nice too. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time in Lesley’s immaculate home. There was LOADS of space which was wonderful particularly as our group contained people of different generations. There were many things which we simply didn’t have time to use but we could have happily lived in the property for months, it was so exceptionally well equipped. It was very easy to communicate with Lesley from the moment I booked right through to leaving. We also bumped into Patrick who helps out with the property and he was super-friendly. All-in-all a wonderful place which made our special occasion at Glasgow Art School really memorable and perfect. Thank-you!

Beautiful flat in a great location! Aiden was the perfect host - responded quickly and was so accommodating us for an early check in. The flat was clean and had all of the amenities we could ever need. And we so enjoyed the welcome picnic basket of goodies - such a nice, personal touch. Would highly recommend this flat for anyone wanting a home base in Glasgow!

This was a perfect place for our large family group to use as a home base to explore the area. The house and yard were great and it had all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

We had a fantastic stay at this Air BnB – it truly felt like a home away from home. The house is beautiful, warm, and welcoming, with all the thoughtful touches that make a stay extra comfortable. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making everything seamless from start to finish. The location is perfect – nestled in a peaceful area but just a quick hop onto the motorway, giving you easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.

Could use a clothes dryer in addition to outside clothes line, due to Scottish weather. Location convenient for west end Glasgow.

This was a perfect stay! The location was beautiful in the sweetest little village. All instructions for check in/out we're very clear and the house was well appointed.
