We had a wonderful experience in this house. It was a beautiful and peaceful home right next to the water, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Renting boats and bicycles nearby was a great bonus! However, there are a few things to keep in mind during your stay: * There are some rules to follow. It’s important to leave the house clean and ensure that all items are in their proper places—this includes cleaning the fridge and dishwasher. Details available in House. * Garbage disposal was a bit challenging for us. We had difficulty locating the bins near the reception and spent over 10 minutes looking for them. * Make sure to bring all essentials with you including tissues. Although we encountered a few minor confusions due to our off-hours check-in and check-out, but we still enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone planning to visit the Netherlands with their own transport. It’s conveniently located, with many attractions just about 40 minutes away.

Truly a family home. Boris runs a beautiful BnB and lives on the top floor. Great living room, good kitchen, three spacious bedrooms and well equipped bathroom. It has it all, and just in case you would miss anything, Boris will get it for you! All packed in a great architectural house, beautiful and tasteful interior. You’ll enjoy this classic Dutch villa. Free parking! Location is perfect. Inner city walkable, great restaurants nearby. Truly recommend this.

The location was phenomenal! My friends and I enjoyed the scenic and peaceful community as well as the spacious interior of the home. It was difficult to figure out the late check-in process at first, but were eventually able to get it figured out! We would enjoy coming back in the future

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this serene apartment, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The property offers breathtaking views, especially during the mesmerizing sunsets over the valley and woods. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and impressively designed, featuring spacious accommodations that provided ample comfort during our stay. Additionally, we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely outdoor chilling area, where we could relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. While the town center is approximately 4km away, we highly recommend having access to a car or bicycle for convenient exploration. This allows you to easily visit the charming town and fully immerse yourselves in the local experience. Throughout our stay, we encountered no major issues, apart from a minor miscommunication regarding the checkout time. However, the host was understanding and accommodating, granting us the extra time we needed.

Our stay in the Jules Verne house was very pleasant! Everything we needed was present, nothing to criticize! The 3 bathrooms are a huge asset and were very clean. The design is super original and cozy. The host family was also very friendly! Recommended!

A fantastic house, with plenty of space, with separate playroom for the children, at the edge of the forest. Large dining table: when can you enjoy a meal and each other with 12 or even a few more, at 1 table? We love the fireplace and the fire bowl outside. Wonderful that we could dive into made beds and communication with host went well. All in all: Highly recommended!

We had been warmly welcomed here with 10 women over Pentecost. The house is very nice, reminiscent of a theater backdrop. The only drawback is that the house is quite dark inside (but did not bother us further). The tasteful, very special furnishings with a lot of love for detail make this house a special experience. We also loved the jacuzzi and enjoyed using it. We felt very comfortable here. Bonus: flexible checkout by 8pm on the day of departure. We stayed here for 9 nights with three generations - parents, grandparents and two children (1.5 and 5). The house house is spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. The owners even kindly provided a cot and highchair. Our 5 year old daughter loved her room, which was decorated as a lovely girl's bedroom. The contained and shaded garden was great for the children to play in in the summer heat, especially the inbuilt trampoline. The layout of the house also meant that the 1.5 year old could stay in a separate wing and didn't wake everyone in the family up at 6 am. Just be mindful of the fairly steep stairs to the top floor (bedrooms 5 and 6). The location is great for visiting Efteling and it's a nice stroll into Vjijmen, which has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. A short car ride away are nice towns like the fortified Heusden, and a fabulous bathing lake with a sandy beach and other facilities is within walking distance. Nice quiet and leafy neighbourhood with interesting houses. The owners were very responsive and helpful, and provided a useful welcome booklet (as well as some delicious local treats). We will look back fondly on our stay!

Beautiful park and great house for a vacation with a large group. The house is modern, well equipped and individual bathrooms per bedroom are great. The price is rather high, but it's worth the money. What could have been better: Contrary to the ad, we could not rent a grill (all broken) and there were no seat cushions for the garden furniture.

Beautiful location with great amenities for our family of 4. Good location within Orischot, playgrounds for the kids, good kitchen for cooking, and plenty of beds. Highly recommended.

We rented a tent over Easter and had a nice time overall. The surrounding area is ideal for children – lots of nature, space to play and a really family atmosphere. Especially the barbecue in the evening was a lot of fun and contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. A few small things could be improved: the shower was in need of repair and the internet connection was unfortunately not reliable. Also, it got quite cold at night – so you should prepare well if you stay there this time of year. Still a great spot for families who want to enjoy a bit of nature and camping together

We stayed with a group of friends of 16 in this villa. It was in April so unfortunately the water from the pool was not warm enough to swim in it. But, it was a nice stay, the rooms were spacious, the beds and sleeping beds were lovely. Very nice that there are some bathrooms so we didn't have to wait for each other. Even if people already wanted to sleep and part wanted to do another beer, this was just in terms of deafness. Ool wanted to put the groceries in the fridge before 4 p.m., and in consultation this could too! That was very nice given the activity we were going to do. It was a nice stay!!

Nice and uncomplicated contact. Quick response to questions. No towels means that you also don't find towels in the toilet, we were not so aware of that and it happened for the first time after four trips to Holland. Not that anyone makes the same mistake as we do :). No soap was already something more surprising but a supermarket is nearby and you can quickly buy the missing things. Otherwise, clean apartment, nice sauna and garden. Beds a little flat and soft but overall the location is recommended. There is plenty to experience in the area, especially for children.

It was a very nice place to stay. The host was very nice and friendly. You had your privacy. Simply perfect!!!
