Welcome to rent our guest house, with room for 6, possibly more guests. It is located about 20 meters from the beach. Here you have access to rowboat, canoe and also a wood-burning sauna. There are good opportunities for forest walks, swimming and fishing. On the property there are goats, chickens and dogs. Hopefully you won't be scared of dogs. They usually go loose on the grounds. The nearest store is in Sandsjöfors 4 km, Ekenässjön 12 km or in Vetlanda, Eksjö, Nässjö and Sävsjö, all located 25 km from Djuvanäs.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

A cosy cabin on a big yard, in the forest outside of Bodafors. 0,5 km on a path through the woods from the public bathing site Vareviksbadet, where you can swim or rent canoes. 0,7 km path to through the woods to the closest neighbor. The bathroom is seperate from the cabin, with a modern shower and an enviormental toilet. Bedroom with a queen size bed (200x140 cm) and a loft with two regular beds.

A fantastic stay in a private and peaceful accommodation, perfect for our group of eight. The host was warm and welcoming, and the accommodation was fresh and well-equipped. Lisa and Lasse's vacation home is a dream! It's even nicer than the photos. We felt right at home and definitely want to come back. The communication with Lisa and Lasse was very easy and straightforward. Everything was prepared, very clean and well maintained. The house is totally lovingly furnished and very cozy. The kitchen is super equipped. All seating areas have lake views :-) Really very idyllic. Our child loved to play in the sandbox and lie in the hammock. There is also a boat. There's nothing missing. What was special was that cows were grazing here and they greeted us every day. The location is great; very quiet by the lake and you can also take nice excursions. The café in the village, for example, has very tasty cakes and bulle. Right next to it there are sheep :) We highly recommend this place.

The most wonderful weekend in Anki and Ingvar's little paradise. We enjoyed two nights in a private glamping tent with lake view and all the amenities you could wish for such a trip. A trip to their lovely little sauna was the icing on the cake. Anki also made the most delicious breakfast and pizza kit, to make pizza yourself. In addition, there are many beautiful lakes and nature in the area, which we also had the opportunity to explore. Last but not least, Anki and Ingvar were sweet and welcoming and very helpful no matter what questions or shortcomings you had. We will definitely be back!! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!
