Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Nordwestmecklenburg

The cozy little cottage, overgrown with fragrant roses, was just right for a break. In the morning you wake up with birds chirping, in the evening hedgehogs run across the terrace. An idyll with super lovely hosts who live next door. Lake Ratzeburg can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.

The accommodation has a very nice and fast-heating sauna, which you can also use spontaneously and without long planning. There is also a large quiet garden - perfect for reading and resting or for making a campfire. The proximity to Lübeck and Schwerin is great for a day trip. :) The only drawback is that it gets quite bright in the sleeping area, especially because a skylight is in the east direction. A way to darken the room would be desirable here. Otherwise, it should be mentioned that the surroundings with the lakes are really beautiful and you can also observe (wild) animals there very well. For this, the hosts Scarlett and Robert are also happy to lend you binoculars and give you tips.😊

Thomas and his family's house is very quiet on the edge of a forest. So quiet that deer and rabbits run through the garden. The garden is nice and large and offers many play options (trampoline, ball, table tennis and much more), but also opportunities to relax and grill. My 2-year-old son was very busy because there is also all sorts of things to discover in the house. The communication with Thomas was very relaxed and nice and he even came by once to mow the lawn. Excursions to the local beach Wohlenbeker Wiek and to the zoo Wismar made our stay complete. I'm sure we'll be back 🤗 Thank you 🙂

We were allowed to spend a few days in Jule's house and enjoyed it very much. The surrounding area is very nice, rural and quiet! The house offers a lot of comfort, has a large garden, which was perfect for our kids! We can definitely recommend this house! Thank you for a great break!

We (2 adults, 2 dogs) were allowed to enjoy the accommodation with a completely fenced garden and cozy terrace very spontaneously for 3 days. That's exactly what we did. Gunnar welcomed us in a friendly manner, explained everything and then handed over this beautiful, clean, well-located house, equipped with everything you need in everyday life, together with equipment. No hidden extra costs or similar. We were very enthusiastic and can recommend it to everyone from the heart. The location is also very nice and above all quiet, which we liked very much. All excursion destinations were easily accessible from here. All around top short trip!

Vivien and Anselm have a very nice quiet accommodation. The two and Annette (the good soul next door) immediately took on small challenges. If you are looking for a quiet corner that he or she only shares with peacock Rudi (has a big mouth) or the neighbors of the other two AirBNBs of Vivien and Anselm, this is the place to be. The nearest supermarket is a good 15 minutes away by car and otherwise there is not much around. If you like to listen to the radio or watch a movie, pack a cell phone or tablet - we didn't think of it, it was described like that. Our mistake. We rediscovered board games for ourselves. That's good too!!

We wanted a short break from city life and that is exactly what we got: picturesque nature in the area, wide fields, a beautiful old estate, where the apartment is located in the back, absolute silence at night, relaxing peace during the day. Henrike is a great and very nice host and the rest of her family is also very nice and helpful. We and our dog felt very much at home. We will be happy to come back!

Anja's apartment is beautifully tastefully furnished with plenty of amenities. The building is very old and is located in the heart of Wismar near a church and quiet. Anja is adorable and gave us some great tips. Recommended.

We had a great week at Stefan's. The apartment was cozy, very clean and perfect for two people, with everything you need. We spent five weeks in winter in Cornelia's cozy, charming accommodation. It is furnished with a lot of love for detail, and there was nothing missing. The location is unbeatable in the immediate vicinity of the canal. Our dogs loved it. Just like the lovingly maintained garden. In short, we highly recommend the apartment!

We had a really great time staying at the place! Everything was super relaxed – totally quiet, but still you are on the beach or in the village in a few minutes' walk. Perfect mix. We were there with two dogs and everything was just right: The garden is completely fenced, the two could move freely, and we didn't have to worry about anything. Otherwise, the apartment was well equipped – nothing was really missing. Everything is very clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love. Lutz was super friendly, totally uncomplicated and flexible – you just feel welcome. The bikes were a great extra, and the fact that they even thought of the spa card and a guide was really practical. In short: We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Our stay was wonderful, the house is large enough to retreat, but at the same time has enough space in the kitchen and living room to be together in a larger group. Very tastefully decorated, within walking distance to the beach.

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

A special place to stay! The house is beautiful and modern, with many technological gadgets that make the stay extra comfortable. The pool and trampoline are absolutely gold for children and adults alike. Inga, the friendly host, is very helpful and always ready to answer questions, even after an extensive tour. It is also nice to know that she is staying on the same property, only 25 meters away, which offers extra reassurance. Please note that (during the period we stayed here) there were a lot of mosquitoes and wasps. The house is of course located directly on the forest. This is good to know for future guests. All in all a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend for 2 adults with kids!

The house is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation with many friends or the extended family. The house is so big that you don't even notice that you're there with 12 people. And if everyone comes together for dinner, everyone still finds a place at the huge dining table. The furnishings are extremely stylish. I'll be returning home inspired.

Sure – here's a suggestion for your Airbnb review: ⸻ We had a great stay at Birgit's! The house was perfect for our family – even our dog felt completely comfortable. The accommodation is lovingly furnished, super equipped – we felt right at home. We used the sauna every day. The only small downside: for kitesurfing, the distance to Gold was a little further than hoped – but everything else more than made up for it. Birgit was very warm, helpful and approachable at all times. We will be happy to come back!
