The vacation apartment is located on the second floor of a lovingly renovated half-timbered house. The property is located between Ilsenburg and Wernigerode. From here you can extensively hike through the Harz Mountains or ride a mountain bike. It is also the starting point for excursions by car: Brocken with and without the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway, Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, Ilsetal, Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen, Rappbodetalsperre with suspension bridge, Regenstein Castle Ruins, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar and much more.

Beautiful, spacious holiday apartment in the Harz

The apartment on the first floor of a family house is located directly at the foot of the Harz, between the cities of Wernigerode and Ilsenburg in the small town of Drübeck. Located directly on the forest, you can hike from the apartment on numerous routes into the Harz Mountains or start with the mountain bike. The motorway (A36) makes the place the perfect starting point for excursions in the entire Harz region, as well as in the northern Harz foothills. With about 60 m², the apartment can accommodate up to 4 people.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

The apartment is located right outside Wernigerode (5 minutes). Thanks to a good connection to the A36, you can easily reach many excursion destinations in the Harz. Schmatzfeld is equipped with bike trails that lead you in all directions. Public transportation is available within 100 m. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms and up to 6 sleeping options. The large living/cooking area is spacious and invites you to linger. You can reach the apartment via a metal staircase.

Welcome to our stylish and modern apartment in Schmatzfeld, 5 km from Wernigerode, the colorful town on the Harz. In addition to a quiet location, you can also enjoy the quick connection to the A36 to discover the region with its numerous cultural and hiking opportunities. Furthermore, Schmatzfeld is equipped with bike paths in all directions. It is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Long leisurely walks are also possible on the surrounding dirt roads.

Kalles vacation home

Right on the Harz in the small village of Veckenstedt, is our lovingly and comfortably furnished vacation home for up to ten people. In 2018, we decided to renovate a large part of the building and convert it into a vacation home. The renovation was completed in mid-2020. Our country market and bakery are within walking distance (5 minutes). Ample parking space is available for cars. For motorcycles, there is also a covered and lockable area.

FW Gustav - the perfect base for your Harz vacation

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of an old farmhouse. The farm, which used to be completely closed, was decisively shaped by Gustav Neuhoff, the hostess's grandfather. Hence the name FW Gustav. The nearest shops are in Derenburg, 6 km away. Heudeber is a quiet village, but the nearby A36 offers quick connections to the highlights of the Harz Mountains. Wernigerode, Halberstadt, Quedlinburg and Goslar can be reached in about 25 minutes.

We offer you a very well equipped, bright & modern apartment in a quiet location, not far from the Hasseröder Ferienpark with sauna and swimming pool and the Harzer narrow-gauge railway. The apartment has a bright living area. The open kitchen has a dishwasher, fully automatic coffee machine and reclining chair. On the upper floor is the quiet sleeping area. Outside, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace or end the day with a barbecue.

My "little hut" is located in the beautiful village of Stapelburg in the Harz Mountains between Wernigerode and Bad Harzburg/Goslar. Last year, a real gem with a lot of love for detail emerged from a "junk shed." My place is on a quiet side street, and parking is available right in front of the house. The "Schüppchen" is hidden behind my house and is accessible via a comfortable external staircase.
