To get to the city center, you can quickly get to the city through the Bridge, for example, on the bikes included in the rental. Parking lot in the courtyard, plus 8h puck spots on the street (8am-6pm). NOTE: Self-catering, i.e. you take care of the sheets and cleaning yourself. Please leave the apartment as tidy as it was when you arrived. Bring your own sheets or you can borrow from the closet. Washing and drying of borrowed sheets before departure 🙂✨

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

However, in an exceptional situation, linens can be arranged from the place to stay with a separate fee.

Trees ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. About 10 minutes to Outokumpu and 30 minutes to Joensuu. Koli about an hour and Valamo Monastery about 30 minutes by car. There's also a dog cage outside with a small coop.

Island in Sulkava

We spent 6 wonderful days here. We are not boaters, so at first we thought about going to the island, but fortunately we rejected our own prejudices. The location of the cottage is really peaceful, and the place is even more beautiful than in the pictures. We met Nikon and his father on the beach and got a boat ride to the island. The cottage and sleeping area were neat and carefully prepared. I was very welcome. Time flew by quickly while we were in the sauna, swimming, cooking on the fire, and exploring the environment. Of the items involved, we mostly used binoculars. The outboard rowing boat at the cottage was a convenient way to tour the nearby islands and visit the mainland. Special mention for: smooth communication, the level of equipment of the cottage (all the necessary but not unnecessary clutter), a good bed and of course a beautiful location. If you would like to further develop the place, then perhaps the yard and walkways could be finished and blackout curtains could be obtained for the barn. However, with everything, clearly 5/5.

We - parents and three big children - searched for three days and found them in the house, collected berries, reach swimming in 5 minutes, fishing, rowing, jogging, using the sauna daily and enjoying absolutely quiet nights. In front of the house there is a large terrace with a great barbecue, which also has a hot plate - so we cooked and ate almost exclusively outside - only in the evening we are in the house and were able to use the cozy atmosphere. Summer kitchen offers everything you need. Drinking water was sufficiently provided to us, two good organic toilet outside. Everything is fine - we highly recommend Tuula and her house.
