You can use the lovely natural swimming pool that is available in summer and winter, located in the large (shared) garden. The quiet location directly by the forest, between the lakes Heidweiher, Borner See and Hariksee, invites you to numerous hiking tours, cycling tours and activities in the region. The Heidweiher is a natural lake swimming pool with a small beach, gastronomy and beer garden (please note rest days) within walking distance in a few minutes. This apartment is close to the center of Brüggen and can accommodate 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms with sloping ceilings, a living/dining room with TV corner and a room with a workplace. It is bright and offers plenty of space on 70 m² when the weather is not so nice. The terrace offers a wonderful view into the garden. There is a table and chairs. Books for reading and exchanging and games are available. The bathroom is large and the shower is very spacious.

Our vacation home is located in Geistingen, a stone's throw from the Dutch border, where it is for young and old, with plenty of possibilities nearby. In the immediate vicinity, you can enjoy some tourist attractions, such as the day beach "De Steenberg", marina "De Spaanjerd", the Bastion and the Maasplassen. The white town of Thorn or Maaseik are also worth a visit.

We offer a granny apartment in our house in Gillrath with its own entrance in the countryside and yet a few minutes by car from the city of Geilenkirchen with very good bus and train connections to Aachen, Düsseldorf and Cologne. In the village of Gillrath is the historic steam train station. There are many opportunities for cycling, hiking and excursions. Several recreational areas are nearby, as is the Dutch border.
