Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

We had a great weekend with friends at this great host's place! Everything went very well: he was extremely accommodating in letting us arrive earlier and leave later, which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. In addition, he kindly offers to send us a coat that was forgotten on site! The cottage was true to the photos, very clean, and ideally located, with the river right across the street. Even the neighbors were lovely: they spontaneously offered to lend us their paddles to enjoy them too. A relaxed, caring atmosphere, and memories in your head. Thanks again!

What a beautiful warm, spacious chalet, with a magnificent view. The outdoor property is also large and sunny. Sylvie and Leila respond quickly to messages. Convenience store nearby. We will be back without hesitation.

We loved our stay in the ancestral house of the island of Embarras: it is a house full of history and character, with a country style. Having coffee in the morning looking at the water in the channel or reading in the afternoon hammock allowed us to relax and enjoy a quieter rhythm. The kitchen is super well-equipped and the air conditioning upstairs in the bedrooms was appreciated during this heat wave. Things to do: a boat hike through the different islands of Sorel.

Pleasant stay in this beautiful little refuge in the forest. The site is quiet and gives access to beautiful hiking trails. We'll definitely be back. 😊

My friends and I had a super relaxing and rejuvenating weekend. It felt good! The house as such is worthy of decorating magazines! It's absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed relaxing outside in the early evening and ending the evening in the hot tub. It was perfect! The rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. We'll definitely go back! 😊

Relaxing weekend in a very clean place where everything has been thought out. Fast and enjoyable communications with owners. The hot tub and balcony sheltered from the rain allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. We'll definitely be back!

Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Very friendly! Small touches particularly appreciated: beer glasses offered on arrival, coffee offered for the road, etc. Warm welcome with a visit of the places and good tips about activities in the surroundings. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

The manor was phenomenal! It was everything we wanted and more. The pool is fantastic. There was entertainment for all ages. The house was immaculate and massive. We received a personal gift and there was a board on the table welcoming us. The hosts were extremely responsive and very nice. We will be back every year for our family reunion.

Harmony and peace were everywhere. The sunset is beautiful We felt every ray of sunshine fill our mind. The location is perfect for a small family or escape for lovers. This is truly a place to take energy and relax with a nice bottle of wine. Would 100% recommend.

Beautiful home with all the amenities! Eric was a great host and very responsive. The home was very comfortable for the 8 of us. Unfortunately we only had a 3 night stay and only got to enjoy the pool for one day due to the weather. But it was very nice with lots of comfortable outdoor furniture and a beautiful backyard setting. The master bedroom was amazing with beautiful soaking bathtub! Highly recommend this property.
