Beachfront vacation rentals in Nias

This is one of the best holidays we have had in Indonesia! The host family were incredibly welcoming and always on hand to help with any issue. The location is breathtaking, you can walk straight out from the room to the beach! and if you like surfing this is the place to be! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, and it is a perfect escape location! You will need to hire a motorbike as there is not much to do besides surfing and swimming in the ocean, however the host family can offer a motorbike for a very fair fee of 150,000rp a day. 100% reccomend this stay! I stayed a week with Kwailitis and his family and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really nice spending time with such a lovely family and Ibu’s cooking is awesome (I paid 100rp/day for 3 meals). If you’d like a really authentic Indonesian experience this is it.

We had an amazing 12 night stay at Aloha Surf House. Perfect accommodation overlooking the point surf break. From the moment we arrived at the airport in Nias we were looked after so well. With airport pick up, great meals, surf guiding and a comfortable place to stay we were treated so well by the whole family and they made our trip in Nias unforgettable. We can’t wait to be back. Special shout out for the yummy fruit pancakes, homemade rendang and Rendy the best surf guide on the island. Thank you!!

A great place to stay, wonderful hosts, incredible food and a perfect location. Just make sure the property's Airbnb account has been amended to show the price as per person (including all food) rather than a room rate or you'll be surprised when you arrive....

The best accommodation in Sorake

I really enjoyed my stay in Friendly losmen. It's a quiet and peaceful place on the beach. (near the point 'Inside') Not fancy but simple with just what's needed. (It's really rural style in Indonesia and I love it escaped the hustle and bustle of my city life) The young owner Alfred was very kind and helpful. He's also a great surfing guide. Thanks to him, I had much fun surfing. Lastly I miss ibu Yuli's dishes, especially fried octopus and vegi taco.

Our stay at Oseda’s was flawless. To begin with his customer service. David, his wife and the whole crew are very attentive and ready to help however. The room is also amazing - ours was in front of the ocean, minutes away from the best surfing spot. Thank you for the hospitality!

I think HIMA bungalows are the best place to stay in Saroke. There are so many reasons why its the best. Come and see for yourself

Best place to stay in Nias. Hands down. Hardworking Family run business with everyone working to make their dream a reality. Watched it being built in front of my eyes. Took care of me when I was unwell like I was family. All other guests were awesome. One thing though, you have to bear with construction noise starting early in the morning. Not every paying guest appreciated that. I don’t think they understood that.

Our stay at HIMA bungalows in Sorake Bay was exceptional. Everything was clean and brand new. The staff, who are family members, made us feel right at home. The menu offers a variety of delicious food, and breakfast was particularly noteworthy. Watching the waves from the balcony with a beer in hand, overlooking the beautiful swimming pool, was a highlight. I highly recommend this place for couples seeking a quality stay. The bed was also of high quality, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Thank you very much 🫶🙏

I've had such a. nice stay at David's. Everyone has been so kind, the food they make is delicious, and they have the sweetest pup, Molly. There's a great view of of the wave from the second floor, and easy access to wall out to the keyhole. will definitely stay here again next time I visit Nias.

We had the most amazing stay. The family are so kind and helped us book a boat to telo island and anything else we needed. The bungalows are even nicer than the pictures and the linen is so fresh and clean, you’ll be sure to have an extremely comfortable nights sleep. The location is amazing, you can watch the surf from the sun loungers and enjoy dinner while watching the sunset. We ended up staying here twice during our time in nias as we loved it so much. Highly recommend, quality and luxurious stay.

It was just the absolute perfect place to stay in Nias. Stunning views, well thought out apartment, a luxury here for sure. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again! Stephen was extremely kind, helpful and communicative as well! It was a dream apartment with direct views of the point and I loved every second being here.
