Beachfront vacation rentals in North Sumatra

I stayed a week with Kwailitis and his family and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really nice spending time with such a lovely family and Ibu’s cooking is awesome (I paid 100rp/day for 3 meals). If you’d like a really authentic Indonesian experience this is it.

The accommodation is simple but clean. Only cold water, we first had a room with a bad shower, when we asked for another room we got it right away. Good restaurant, breakfast is a bit stingy and the coffee not drinkable..🤫, but the friendly helpful staff made everything good. Here we also booked our 3 days in the jungle. We were accompanied by Leo and Ecco, who were really fantastic, had humor, took care of us wonderfully and had the patience of angels when things didn't go so fast. In the camp we got the most fantastic food prepared by the cook. Unfortunately, I forgot his name, but we ate the best food of our entire trip there!! On the last day, unfortunately, I fell very hard, Leo picked a few leaves and made a compress, so that the swelling was gone in the evening! He also came to the hotel in the evening with a miracle ointment that I had to apply to my bruises and swollen knee. No idea what it was, but it helped!❤️ Do it!

We had an amazing 12 night stay at Aloha Surf House. Perfect accommodation overlooking the point surf break. From the moment we arrived at the airport in Nias we were looked after so well. With airport pick up, great meals, surf guiding and a comfortable place to stay we were treated so well by the whole family and they made our trip in Nias unforgettable. We can’t wait to be back. Special shout out for the yummy fruit pancakes, homemade rendang and Rendy the best surf guide on the island. Thank you!!

very friendly hosts. place is beautiful and peaceful. it's a good place to relax and unwind. also you can take a boat or a bike to explore the area. playing with the monkey was the highlight for me

A great place to stay, wonderful hosts, incredible food and a perfect location. Just make sure the property's Airbnb account has been amended to show the price as per person (including all food) rather than a room rate or you'll be surprised when you arrive....

My only regret about staying here was not staying longer. Taha makes you feel like part of the family, he makes everything easy and ready to help out whenever he can. The surf is excellent and the best break in the Telos group is a 5 minute walk away, otherwise easy for Taha to arrange boats. The food is excellent and in good quantities, the accommodation is basic but very comfortable (a hot shower in the tropics is not necessary). I can't wait to come back

Been here about 9 days. All I can say is that it is a very nice place, it was the first time in a few years that I was back in the village and I can say that I enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature, delicious natural food. Very helpful people, helped with all my requests. Highly recommended and hope to be here again someday.

Fantastic location overlooking the river and surrounded by lots of greenery. The host is so friendly, helpful and responsive. He looked after me before, during and after the stay.

I think HIMA bungalows are the best place to stay in Saroke. There are so many reasons why its the best. Come and see for yourself

Best place to stay in Nias. Hands down. Hardworking Family run business with everyone working to make their dream a reality. Watched it being built in front of my eyes. Took care of me when I was unwell like I was family. All other guests were awesome. One thing though, you have to bear with construction noise starting early in the morning. Not every paying guest appreciated that. I don’t think they understood that.

Our stay at HIMA bungalows in Sorake Bay was exceptional. Everything was clean and brand new. The staff, who are family members, made us feel right at home. The menu offers a variety of delicious food, and breakfast was particularly noteworthy. Watching the waves from the balcony with a beer in hand, overlooking the beautiful swimming pool, was a highlight. I highly recommend this place for couples seeking a quality stay. The bed was also of high quality, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Thank you very much 🫶🙏

Our stay at Oseda’s was flawless. To begin with his customer service. David, his wife and the whole crew are very attentive and ready to help however. The room is also amazing - ours was in front of the ocean, minutes away from the best surfing spot. Thank you for the hospitality!

I've had such a. nice stay at David's. Everyone has been so kind, the food they make is delicious, and they have the sweetest pup, Molly. There's a great view of of the wave from the second floor, and easy access to wall out to the keyhole. will definitely stay here again next time I visit Nias.

We had the most amazing stay. The family are so kind and helped us book a boat to telo island and anything else we needed. The bungalows are even nicer than the pictures and the linen is so fresh and clean, you’ll be sure to have an extremely comfortable nights sleep. The location is amazing, you can watch the surf from the sun loungers and enjoy dinner while watching the sunset. We ended up staying here twice during our time in nias as we loved it so much. Highly recommend, quality and luxurious stay.

Diana's bungalow was the perfect choice to spend our week in the Banyak archipelago. My girlfriend and I shared the bungalow with a couple of Swiss people in Tuk-Tuk, each couple had their own bedroom with a living room and a super spacious veranda that overlooks the ocean. I recommend everyone for those who want to spend unforgettable days on the island of Sikandang.

Very nice welcome by Rius, the local manager, the setting is incredible... an almost deserted island in a beautiful archipelago, many snorkeling opportunities with unspoiled funds. The bungalows are simple but perfect in the setting, and the on-site team takes care of everything. A few unforgettable days...

It was just the absolute perfect place to stay in Nias. Stunning views, well thought out apartment, a luxury here for sure. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again! Stephen was extremely kind, helpful and communicative as well! It was a dream apartment with direct views of the point and I loved every second being here.
