Lakeside Cottage is beautiful, peaceful, steeped in history & easy to access once you know where it is, we drove past it 3 times lol. We were greeted with gorgeous fresh flowers in each room & a very tasty bottle of prosecco. Most Definitely will be going back at some point in the near future & can't recommend it enough as a quiet getaway - listening to the river Ayr was blissful!!

Beautiful little cottage. Loads to do without leaving the front door including hot tub, fire and BBQ. Area and garden is stunning! Jane was very helpful and communicative on check in and check out, very friendly! Clean and as described in photos.

Beautiful location for a lovely farm stay, great views from the hot tub! Loved being able to watch the cows and sheep. Claire was lovely and was ready to help at any moment despite us arriving so late at night! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We had a fantastic time at The Stables celebrating our rescue greyhound’s fifth birthday - she got to run around happily in the enclosed garden whilst we enjoyed our complimentary Prosecco in the hot tub!Secluded location, relaxing and everything you could need thought of by Paul & Fiona. Teapot Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It was very well kitted out, decorated very nicely, and had lots of nice touches to make our stay even better. Lammisa was a great host - very responsive and friendly, and was happy to help whenever needed. There's great local amenities within walking distance, and several local villages and towns within a short drive, including Ennerdale Lake. The place was very comfortable, with plenty of seating indoor and out, with several comfy beds suitable for a group of adults. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has very little storage space, so if you're staying for a few days and have a large bag/suitcase - you'll need to find somewhere else to put it! Overall - we were all very pleased with this stay and we'd definitely book again in future.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place and friendlier helpful host. Kathryn was attentive and was very responsive, always friendly and helpful. This cottage is very spacious, modern and clean. We really enjoyed our time here. We are already planning when to go back. The views from the windows and the hot tub are beautiful. There is so much to do, we needed much longer to explore more areas and go on more walks. We would definitely recommend this place.

The stables exceeded our expectations, and Margaret was an incredible host! already looking for when we can come back and visit again, this place is amazing!

Spotless accommodation in the most beautiful location. The instructions to find the place were spot on. All towels, bedding, dishes and glasses were of a really high standard. We felt right at home. Being on a working farm we were up close n personal with the alpacas and lambs. It was fab! Close to a lovely pub we were able to walk there. Right on the water so we could swim and paddleboard. Loved everything about this place.

It has been a pleasure to stay in Zan's house. Very comfortable, clean and makes you feel at home. The children loved the horses, chickens and all the animals. It was the perfect spot to recharge our batteries

We absolutely 💯 loved our short stay at Nursery end cottage. It was perfect. Warm, comfortable & cosy. It had everything you could think of. We were welcomed with a lovely welcome pack & thankyou card. The cottage is in a beautiful, peaceful area surrounded by sheep and hills. We chose to stay here as it wasn't far from Scafell pike. I would recommend to anyone to stay in this cottage and would definitely book it again. It's just beautiful. We only wish we could of stayed longer.

I would move here tomorrow. Such a perfectly quiet getaway at the foothills of Skidaw surrounded by nature and with a kind and caring host. Thank you for everything Alison and we cannot wait to come back and see more ducklings soon xx

The property was splendid, super location and peaceful which is what I wanted, lots of walking spectacular views the house was warm with a homely feel, beds were super comfy and everything was there that was needed for a perfect stay. I will be returning.

Perfect for walkers and dogs. Rustic and peaceful with cracking views. Sitting outside, listening to birds, was just what we needed.

A cracking little house, had everything we needed, the views out the large windows were amazing. Great to have a little jug of milk and some free eggs to get you started was great. We had an issue with timing for check in on our side but Chris was able to sort us out. Very well located for eating out places.

An exceptional Airbnb. Gina is a great host and the attention to detail at the property is second to none. A real home from home. The views from the property are wonderful. The property is remote, but with that, you get peace and quiet and there is an amazing amount of countryside and coastline to explore nearby. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Wonderful stay at Strawberry Cottage. Location was amazing so we could make the most of everything Keswick has to offer. Very homely cottage, very comfy beds and lots of local information available. Beautifully decorated too!

Accommodation was booked for colleagues for business purposes. Everything was exactly as described and suited out needs perfectly. Very friendly host and communicative hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

A great Airbnb in the traditional fashion we enjoy: ie hosts live next door and greet you in person. The cottage itself is 5* and the garden a delight. Thoroughly recommend.

Our host, Karen, was perfect. She was polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Her property was stunning and had everything we needed to be a a home from home. Her particular attention to our dogs needs really stood out. We were welcomed by milk in the fridge, fresh fruit, treats and toys for the dog and a plethora of leaflets books and dining out ideas for the area. Loved the little touches like notes on the OS maps…it really is the little details that count. We had an amazing stay in this beautiful and peaceful property. Creetown had so much to offer in such a welcoming and subtle way, everyone in the community was friendly and took the time to talk about places to go, local history…and even helped us deer spot literally meters from the front door. Perfect week away.

Beautiful house overlooking river. Everything you need is there and everything works. Also within walking distance of shops and town centre., so best of both worlds. Would go back. Peter

Great holiday home with fantastic views. Kitchen has all you need to cook with. She had left eggs and milk which was very appreciated. Good location, close to lots of towns and places to eat. Would stay again

We only stayed overnight and this place met our needs very well. The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and with welcome extras like biscuits and coffee available. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden listening to the birdsong. Hugh was a welcoming host. Easy entry and departure. Both the bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the bedding was fresh and great quality. It’s obvious thought and care has been given to meeting guest needs. Recommended!
