STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING! You could not ask for better views, the oceans in front and the mountains behind. Newcastle is an extremely walkable town, and this location is right in the middle. The beach is steps away, beautiful hiking trails behind, and beyond friendly people. If you are looking for an escape from the city, look no further! Paula was fantastic to chat with as well, and provided us so much help and a flexible checkout time which was greatly appreciated. I cannot say enough fantastic things about this place!

Had an amazing stay here in newcastle. The apartment exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable and felt right at home. We were pleasantly surprised to find a christmas tree in the living room and a board game box. Really well equiped kitchen, many adaptor cables which came in handy and a gorgeous view.

The hosts thought of everything to ensure my stay was comfortable and relaxing, I cannot think of anything else I would have needed. It was home from home. It was the perfect spot for a stay with all amenities close by and the most amazing views over the bay. Thank you both, I will definitely be back 🥰

Great location walking distance to restaurants and beach

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous flat. We loved sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine, enjoying the stunning view. It was a great location for us and has fabulous food options very close by. The flat is comfortable and really well equipped. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place and would definitely come back.

A lovely property in a great location, close to Ardglass. Everything very clean and spacious. Very comfy bed with nice crisp linen. Can't fault anything inside and out. Really enjoyed getting away from it all here and highly recommend for a coastal holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Glenda and Charlie’s place. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and walks and swims nearby.

Great place with super view over the Loughshore with no traffic noise. Comfortable and close to a cafe and restaurant. Outstanding for bird watching and wildlife

Loved being able to see seals (through binoculars). Coastal views are beautiful. House had all amenities listed. Rachel was accommodating and responded quickly.

Beautiful, cosy little cottage equipped with everything you could possibly need...soft,fluffy towels,comfy beds a real wee treasure, beautifully located,scenery stunning and ideally situated for beach strolls, mournes hiking,forest adventures...will definitely be back to stay, loved the place.

We had a lovely stay at Alex and Danny’s place with such a friendly welcome from the hosts. The location is beautiful, such a treat to wake up to and the cottage has everything you could need. Strangford isn’t far away and has some nice spots to eat and drink. Would definitely return. Thank you x

We had a fantastic short stay in Lighthouse Cottage. The house is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and yet very welcoming and homely. Tara has thought of everything to help make the stay a perfect relaxing experience, from the welcoming pack to the instructions booklet, games and more. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids and never felt crowded. The house is a stones throw to a beautiful beach and spectacular scenery, with the sunset dropping over the mountains in the evening. There is also plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Tara is a very helpful host and we hope to be back again.

Absolutely beautiful venue set on the beach front, over looking Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Suzanne's communication was fantastic, the house was immaculate and equipped with everything you could need for a perfect get away. We cant wait to be back.

I think the photos don't do this house justice - it was better than I expected! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. And Coney Island is always wonderful!

Restful, comfortable stay in a beautifully updated cottage with stunning views. Jane had kindly left yummy treats and gorgeous toiletries and all the basic cleaning supplies we needed for our stay. Communication was friendly, prompt and professional. Thank you, we would live to visit again.

Beautiful apartment with lovely views. Accommodation was spotless, had everything you could need and you can tell the host takes great pride in her property. Ann Marie was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Colleen's. The place was spotless and exactly like the pictures. There was a lot of space and we did not feel cramped at all. There was even milk, chips, butter & jam for us upon arrival! Only issue was the doors to the outside had to be locked at all times and were tricky to handle. Would recommend staying here for sure!

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for 3 nights midweek with our dog.. Carol Ann provided us with lots of information before we arrived. We met Sean on our arrival & when leaving. He was very friendly & helpful with local information on the area. This dog friendly apartment has everything we needed for our stay. The little courtyard off the bedroom is a great outside space to sit & our dog enjoyed roaming around it. The bedroom is spacious, good kitchen & bathroom & lovely sitting room with dining area & good sea view. Parking space at the front of the apartment was a bonus. We felt very comfortable in the apartment & welcomed the Wheaten bread, butter,jam, milk & breakfast cereals provided on our arrival. The town is 20 minutes walking distance from the apartment along a good footpath & sea promenade. We would certainly recommend staying in this dog friendly apartment & we hope to visit again sometime in the future.

We spent 8 nights in this spacious apartment. It's located on the main street of Newcastle with oceans views form the living room and kitchen. All the restaurants and stores are at your doorstep. Catherine was very responsive and she left some food, drinks and snacks for our stay which was appreciated. We would highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again on our next trip to Ireland.

Lovely apartment in Newcastle, short walk into town and close to Ohare’s bar and restaurant which was lovely for food. Apartment was baby friendly with a cot, high chair provided along with the added bonus of toys, books and Lego which kept our little ones entertained. The apartment had everything you needed, the lift was broken which was tough as we had to take lots of baby supplies with us and it’s on the top floor, but it felt like home away from home and apartment had a fab view of the mountains and a lovely balcony for a cuppa in the morning, would love to stay again.
