Cabin vacation rentals in Newry and Mourne District Council

It was so relaxing and calm I loved the scenery. The beds were so comfortable and I really liked the fluffy blankets that were provided as well. Honestly, I would live there if I could. I really liked my stay at Rebecca‘s place and it was one of my favourite B&Bs I’ve ever stayed at

Hawthorn Hideaways was so beautiful and quiet. Kirker was a great host. The pod was amazing and the hot tub made the stay perfect! Kirker also left some lovely stuff in the pod for my birthday which was a lovely surprise.

A beautiful property, I would say unique with privacy, view on to a lake fringed with bulrushes and reeds, wonderful variety of birdlife including ducks, moorhens, and an errant heron. The cabin is very well equipped, good electric shower, loved the record player and vinyl selection. Very clean, plenty of soft towels and toiletries. Only comment would be that the bed is a small double. Fine for me travelling solo! And probably no problem at all for others :-)

Only there for one night, but we enjoyed the perfect accommodation in a beautiful location. Had everything we needed for a very chilled evening away!

Me and my girlfriend had a perfect stay view was amazing such a peaceful area. Christina was lovely and was really helpful especially with stuff to do within the area

Stunning surrounding area which just takes the stay to a new level! Easy check in with messages to keep you right. 10 minute drive to nearest town with good take away options. Place was clean and tidy on arrival. Even though the 3 pods are close to each other it feels very secluded. Had a fab time and will defo be back! Lovely stay, super close to Newcastle and has everything you could possibly need. Even in the rain, the view was amazing+ the hot tub was covered so we still got the use out of it.

Aurora country spa retreat is an absolutely beautiful place, gorgeous surroundings. Siofra and Mark are brilliant hosts and so helpful and welcoming. Pool is fantastic, hottub, sauna and beer garden are top class. Such a peaceful and relaxing place. Great view of the mountains. We stayed in the cabin and it was lovely, comfy bed and all essentials in the kitchen. Own private hottub at the side of the cabin, smart tv so you can listen to your favourite songs and watch your favorite movies on Netflix ect. Would definitely recommend 👌 Thanks again for our stay, Thnk you so much, we really enjoyed!

Amazing location, beautifully set up private pods/cabins. Ciara sent us many emails ro include things to do on arrival, possible locations to visit and even sent out a spotify play list to set the mood. We didnt ask to check in early but got an email before 1400 hrs saying that the place was ready and we could check in. Its the most idyllic and peaceful place and we will for sure return again for a few nights. Odin, the family dog paid us a few visits which was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

Great wee place..nicely secluded great views..unfortunately bad weather..didn't hampen our time there. darragh great host..even though I was his lifesaver lol..lovely time..

Great night away for myself, 4 year old daughter and dog. Everything was perfect and has a cosy feel to it. Only flaw was that I wasn't familiar with the oven and couldn't see any instructions then burnt food but would be my fault really. Slept well and was quiet/peaceful at night. Beautiful scenery too. Would definitely come back and recommend

Our stay was fab, even the rainy weather didn’t dampen the atmosphere. Great community spirit in the area. Restaurant near by the yellow heifer was fab. Great wings and pints. Would go again for sure

Had a fantastic stay at Joseph’s place! The cabin was private and the wood fired hot tub was dreamy. Joseph could not do enough for us and even offered to go pick us up a take away if we were stuck for food. The bar was brilliant and good for meeting other couples who were down staying. Also the dog and cat were a major plus for us! Thank you so much, definitely be back!

Had a great stay at the cabin, it was clean and tidy with everything we could have possibly needed. Would definitely recommend and was great value for such a lovely place. Very attentive and helpful host. 10/10 👏

Thoroughly enjoyed clean cosy home from home. Lovely to see all the nature around us. Rabbits, Birds, cattle and horses were entertaining to watch. Especially the check in from the little terrier and white cat.

After a long journey we were delighted to arrive at the cabin. It was so peaceful and our son loved watching the chickens run around! We will definitely be back.

Had a great stay at Forget me not accommodation. The place was clean and the host Eamon was very friendly. The views were unbelievable and the weather we had was so beautiful. we would definitely return for another stay.

Such a lovely stay. The cabin is very well appointed and cosy. The location itself felt private and perfectly position outside of the town to provide a quiet escape. The hosts were really accommodating and always on hand for information and recommendations. 5star!

Stayed here for one night. Lovely spot- clean, cosy, relaxing space, nice to be able to use the sauna. Would recommend heating the sauna two hours before you want to use it!! Takes a while to heat up. Overall, is a great spot:)

Just love this place, Have been before and definetly be back. Linda is so Friendly and Cassie is just a joy to be around. Everything is exactly as pictured and the views are magnificent. Great place to clear your head and get some peace and calm.
