Staying in farm was a great experience. Claire & Alistair are amazing hosts. Alistair told me some amazing stories from his experience, took us to show his farm and some really beautiful views from the property. Highly recommended.

Ann was a wonderful host! She was waiting for us when we arrived, communicated well and was there with us when we were leaving. The place was so well put together, the styling of the house was perfect, the type of thing I could only dream of. It was such a treat meeting Ann, she made our trip so memorable and I will never forget how welcoming she made us feel. Thank you Ann

Daylesford region - a joyful rustic hideaway

WalterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a great stay if you are looking for a little peace and quiet. It was freezing on the day I arrived, and Neil not only allowed an early check in to get my soggy self out of the cold steel rain, but laid in a very welcoming fire in the Ned Kelly log burner. The accommodation is very fun- a meeting hall with an attached apartment, and there is a collection of vinyl records, CDs, and the sound system to match. Had a great time listening to some albums of a wayward youth, stirring up some ghosts to go with the hot coffee off of the percolator. It is a country location, so I think you would need to drive to get to anything, but for me it was a perfect start to a trip to Ballarat.

Enchanting log cabin in the woods

Felt like being in an oasis whilst only an hour or so out of Melbourne. Susan’s place was a sanctuary the perfect winter escape! The bed was so comfortable, we had a nightly fire, there were birds and kangaroos on the doorstep and the bath was deep and perfect for relaxing. Everything was so well thought out, we had the best stay!

Allison is one of the best hosts we have had, the attention to detail was fantastic from treats for us and our dog Bugsy. The property was also well fenced and it was lovely having the animals around. We cant wait to go back and stay!

Brooker Tiny Home: Rural Luxury

MelissaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Had a lovely stay at The Tiny home. We stayed mid June so cold weather as expected but some beautiful walks through the forest that backs onto the home, the fire place made for a very cosy stay, everything we needed was supplied in the home. Georgina had great communication. We brought our little border collie who loved the area, we were aware of lots of wildlife but beautiful to see. Very much a place to switch off, minimal internet and no tv but didn’t need it.
