Vacation rentals with breakfast in Newfoundland

Stay at Wanda's and Mark's place was super comfortable. Beautifull view from the balcony and cozy room. Hosts are wonderfull and positive people. They were treat me like an old friend!) I highly recomend Wanda and Mark's place to stay longer and explore the Newfoundlands west coast.

We had an incredible stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We were in town for a hockey tournament and the home easily accommodated four families, with tons of space and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. The indoor pool and hot tub were definite highlights and kept the kids (and adults!) happy for hours. The house was spotless when we arrived, and the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—leaving a special treat for each of the kids and even stocking the fridge with breakfast foods for us to enjoy. Communication was outstanding; the host was super responsive to any questions we had and was extremely accommodating with our checkout time. We are already looking forward to staying here again in the future. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great stay at Perry’s place! It’s clean, cozy and close to all amenities. It’s also in a quiet neighborhood!! We hope to get back again soon :)

Tony was a great host. The house was well stocked, check in was easy with lockbox code provided. The house is a 5 min drive to the centre of town. Highly recommended.

It was an absolute pleasure staying in this beautiful home. Carl was extremely friendly, has the sweetest cat and the location of the house is perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you can!

This is the ultimate place to stay in St John’s if you want to stay at a place with charm and a family vibe. It’s also super central, you can walk everywhere from there. Tamara is fabulous and her breakfast super fresh, yummy and healthy. I stayed with Tamara for 5 nights and felt as part of the family. Amazing, thank you Tamara 🧡

Tracey was very friendly and she texted me back promptly. I would recommend her apartments and I would definitely stay there again if I ever get a chance.

Beautiful heritage home, really large space, and the breakfast served on the top floor was lovely. Not sure if I misread the listing but there were some very steep and narrow stairs going down to access the suite that I wasn’t expecting.

We stayed for Two nights and wished we had planed to stay longer as we liked it all so much. The apartment was very well equipped with excellent cooking facilities, we also made use of the washing machine to catch up on our laundry needs. Rowena and her husband were easy to communicate with and made sure the few quiries we had were responded to promptly. The apartment is very clean, quite and very private providing a peaceful environment. The village was very friendly where everyone seemed to wave as you drove and took time to stop and talk if we were walking. There just happened to be a massive iceberg stuck in the harbour at the time of our visit which made the visit extra special 🥰

This place has been very-well remodeled and everything was crisp, clean, and in excellent condition. We were two couples and were therefore relying on the sofa bed for one couple. Unfortunately, it is a sofa where the right side and the left side push back into a reclined sitting position, while the middle section remains in a normal seating position. It’s not a actual sofa bed. We did find an air mattress in the spacious walk-in closet, and used that as a second bed. We would not hesitate to stay here again, especially for just two people, though we made it work very well with four people.

Loved our stay! So cozy! And was so beautiful such a beautiful spot and location. We will be back again soon :)

This house is beautifully refinished, all new everything, but they kept all the heritage features and warmth. We could live here, so quiet in the bush at night, Sat outside enjoying the stars. Wonderful sleep in 5 star linens, and coffee brewing when we woke up. Sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Bruce is a great host. Due to the Newfoundland ferry cancelling the ferry trips the day before arrival, I never actually stayed the night. I arrived the next morning to continue my journey to Saint Pierre and Miquelon and stopped by for breakfast. Bruce was great to talk with and the breakfast was very good. I would recommend to anyone to stay here in Grand Bank.

Gloria and Bill are absolutely lovely hosts! The gold standard of legendary Newfoundland hospitality. They will cook you a delicious breakfast to your specifications (including homemade jam on homemade bread) and are happy to engage in convsation or give you space if you prefer. Personally I am all about talking to locals and hearing stories from my hosts, so we had a great time. I truly felt right at home with the homemade muffins and free-flowing coffee and tea. Highly recommend !

The room/house was fabulous, as well as, the fantastic breakfast!! The scenic views of sunset, rainbows, etc, were priceless. The only trouble we had, was it was pouring down rain when we tried to locate it, based on the address of Main Rd., Hay Cove & could not find it. We did NOT realize it was called Viking Village!! Our confirmation stated Hay Cove & said after 4th House there would be a street sign (not what the sign would say). Again, our issue, because once there…VERY happy! Highly recommend, as you won’t be disappointed. Just make sure you know what to put in the GPS…they are so fickle & often guide you wrong. Thanks, Terry as it was our best nights sleep on the road!!

With very short notice, (30 minutes) of needing a place for the night, Cheri replied quickly and the room was available when I arrived. Clean quiet secure room, with a comfy bed and clean washroom. Which was al I needed for the night. I’ve been to the area before, so I knew I did not have to worry about the location. Thank you!

We had the best time at this Airbnb! The experience will stay with us for a lifetime. To rent a room and lay in bed and just stare at the tablelands was something we didn’t expect or grasp until we got there. We stay in a lot of different places and this place is truly unique. Jean is beyond incredible!!! She was so genuine, kind, helpful and just went above and beyond as a host to make our stay and trip special. You feel like you’re staying with family. And yet you also have a lot of privacy. Hoping to go back one day. We highly recommend this Airbnb stay. You won’t soon forget it.

Marina and Terry are wonderful hosts. They are naturally friendly and caring people. Their home is lovely. Our stay was brief due to a busy traveling schedule and so we greatly appreciated their hospitality.
