A beautiful log cabin set at the foot of the Mourne mountains, perfect for couples looking to escape all the hustle and bustle. Your accommodation has that open plan alpine feel with a wood burning stove. (Fuel not supplied, please note this is a wood burning stove only). There is also oil fired central heating. Fully fitted kitchen and in very close proximity to Newcastle's town center. Also on the doorstep of Donard Park and Tollymore forest Park, world famous for the "Game of Thrones".

Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

We are at the foot of the Ulster way, with the track to the Mourne mountains in one direction and Tollymore forest in the other a stroll is always sanctioned! Meelmore lodge coffee shop is a 10 minute walk Newcastle is 10 minute drive Belfast is a 1hr drive, or 1hr bus journey from Newcastle You really are in the heart of the mountains here!

This is a self contained loft space with its own entrance, while still being part of our home. It has its own ensuite shower room, a small kitchen/dining area with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink and a 2-ring portable hot-plate. Please note….. it does NOT have an oven. It also has a settee & satellite TV. There is also access to our WiFi Internet.
