Set on 5 acres of mainly native bushland, our cottage is a real retreat from the urban rat race. The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

An hour from the Westgate this cottage has all you need to enjoy Blackwood. A five minute walk to town for a coffee and the paper…beautifully tranquil and quiet. If bush walking or mountain biking are interests you are surrounded by endless tracks. Plant lovers will find several spectacular nurseries near by including "St Erth". Foodies enjoy eateries in Trentham. Note: Use of second bedroom incurs an additional cleaning fee of $20. No WiFi (but I have a smart TV you can stream to).
