Alex was a wonderful host! The campsite was exactly as described and the directions were easy to follow. Alex was there when I arrived to show me around, and he even offered to help take stuff to my campsite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Leslie's North River Hobby Farm has an incredible charm, from the energy of the land to the craftsmanship and architecture of the buildings. We were only there for one day but the short stay was perfect to finish off our camping trip. Our glamping tent had a heater in it to take the edge off the cold nights, and we really enjoyed using the custom hot tub. Everything was kept clean, including the kitchenette and bathhouse spaces. The Farm had a nice communal vibe and we got to connect and meet some of the other guests staying there. All in all, I hope we can come back here again and stay for longer to enjoy more of the surrounding lands and offerings.

Beautiful sunset views. The kitchen, sauna and common space are very thoughtfully equipped and maintained. We came back for a second stay and would be back again. Kyle is a lovely host, so nice and helpful!

First time staying here. It's beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Friendly owners and dog (Mona). Nice fire pit to hang out. Very quiet. We stayed in the tent. Had plenty of room. Bring your own headlamps (flashlights) so you can walk around at night. Tent will need a lamp or your headlamps. There is no electricity, however you can go into the big kitchen area and they have charging outlets. Bathrooms were pristine and smelled really nice. Property was clean as well. Didn't see any trash on the ground. You can stay in several different places within the property. They are well spaced, so privacy is nice. They have yurts and A frame cabins. Would definitely recommend. Check their schedules because they don't always have air bnb. They're seasonal.

We can’t recommend a stay at Laura’s property more highly! She has created a magical oasis at Gatherwild. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and offer plenty to do and see without ever leaving (beautiful walking trails, friendly farm animals, vegetable gardens, games and crafts)— our kids were in heaven. The location is also ideal, close to lots of great food, culture, and nature. Sleeping quarters were clean and comfy, and the communal kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. It made for a seamless glamping experience with our kids. Laura was a wonderful host and we hope to come back soon!

Really well kept beautiful area right outside of Ithaca. I would put on my list of off the beaten path gems. I was not sure what to expect, but the site and bathrooms/shower rooms were extremely clean and showers had hot running water. Susan is very organized and keeps things in a way so that your trip will go smoothly.

this place was absolutely amazing. it's extremely peaceful and Leslie has the place set up to make you feel right at home. we will definitely be returning to stay again.

Such a great experience. Peaceful and serene. I’m so glad we made the trip (6.5 hours) and definitely will be back for a longer stay! It’s so inviting, Laura was an amazing host responding quickly to inquiries. I will definitely be recommending this get away.

We stayed in one of the glamping tents for the 2024 eclipse and had the best time. Leigh and her husband / staff are the nicest people and made the whole trip so pleasant. Far exceeded my expectations. They did a soft launch of their cafe for the eclipse weekend and make some awesome coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The bathrooms for the tents are top notch, with each tent getting their own private bath just a few steps away. They even have a stage where they had live music with a nice covered patio for easy listening. We will definitely be back!

Just got back from a great little tent camping trip and had to share how nice this spot was! The campsite was private and peaceful—exactly what I was hoping for. It felt like our own little escape, surrounded by nature with plenty of space to relax. Super quiet, which made it easy to unwind. Micheal was very responsive and helpful from the moment we booked. Overall, it was a really positive stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, private place to pitch a tent and recharge, I’d definitely recommend this spot!

We had a great stay for our 15th wedding anniversary! Attended the Cuba Garlic festival. Got cold overnight and Mel and Holly made sure we were warm enough! I recommend anyone wanting to get away and have a relaxing time to check out their campground.

10/10 recommend! We had such a lovely time here. The tent was clean, neat and ver homey. The bath house was stepsaway from our tent. The grounds were gorgeous with the trees and the foliage. We loved the firewood to make our campfire and the chairs outside to stargaze. We had an amazing, peaceful time and hope to be back soon!

We recently stayed at this wonderful tent rental near New Baltimore, NY, and it was an incredible experience. The location offers great views of the Catskills and a genuine connection with nature, far from any noise or light pollution. The tent is cozy and well-equipped with a comfortable queen-size bed, Adirondack chairs, etc… and a bench table set up next to a wood-burning grill, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. Hiking trails on the property were very peaceful. The 2-hour and 15-minute drive from NYC was very accessible, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

Can I give a rating higher than 5 stars? Marsha is the best Airbnb host I've had to date. She was kind, considerate, and incredibly welcoming. The breakfasts she made for us were absolutely amazing, and we loved the many conversations we had with her and Peter. Again, I cannot stress this enough, these are incredibly lovely airbnb hosts, and you will not regret staying here. We would stay again in a heartbeat and have already recommended this airbnb to friends! If you like to camp with pets, but also like to sleep in a comfortable bed with warm blankets and easy access to facilities, this is the place for you!

This was a great experience. Although this glamping experience is something best done as a group but we had a couple of cancelation scared of the rain, honestly I feel the rain made the experience so much better, specially sleeping through the sound of the rain in the tent. We definitely recommend this place. Dawn and her husband were super nice, very accommodating and helpful. We got response to any questions we had, almost if not immediately. Thanks again for having us at your place.

We cannot say enough positive things about staying here! First, this location is AMAZING. It is so private, but you are at great wineries and breweries within a minute. We enjoyed making a fire each night and looking at the stars because the space was cleared out and gave a great view of the sky. Then, we could make our way into the tent where we could feel close to nature...it was so quiet and peaceful! We hiked down to the plunge pools and took a cold plunge, and we were able to be at so many great locations within a short drive. If you're used to camping and being in the outdoors, this is such a great way to experience the Finger Lakes region!

Very peaceful - the property was beautiful and close to many great hikes. It was nice to sleep in a comfy bed but still have the camping vibe. The tent was spacious with solid wood floors. Cookware was a little grimy so we were happy we brought our own. Margarete was a kind and helpful host. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

We had a very nice stay at Samuel and Catherine's little paradise in the nature. A large and clean tent with big double bed. The perfect escape from the city life - but not completely either because you have perfect wifi. A dip in the rivier gives nice refreshments. In the strong current you can play with their tubes bungee installation. Our hosts were very helpful and so friendly! They provided us with everything needed - even though it was not included. Bring good mosquito repellent ;)

This spot is one for our books we stayed short night but loved every second.

Our night at Lee’s farm was magnificent! Beautiful views, a full moon, and we stayed cozy in the tent with the propane heater ( 32 degree night). Lee was a great host.. gave us a few recommendations for our evening meal; great spot!

Emily, and Lucky Day, was so much more than we bargained for, in the best way possible. The campsite was beautiful (the stars!!!), the treats at the bakery were incredible, and everything Emily did to make us feel so at home and comfortable was amazing. I don’t think we could have had a better experience, or a better time. Emily was an incomparable hostess, and we look forward to coming back to visit. Her home is beautiful, and what a gift to be able to share it for even just a night!

An incredible place, chock full of everything you could ever need to very comfortably enjoy a peaceful few days in the woods. This was our second time at this campsite. It's a truly outstanding setup, thoughtfully stocked and furnished, in a beautiful quiet spot. Lots of great hiking, restaurants, and farms nearby. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. We'll be back!
