We are located in Yang Mingshan, built in the 1950s. It is the only old house of 118 old houses preserved by the Taipei Municipal Bureau of Culture, the only old house that has not been changed. This room has a leafy mountain view, butt Mountain. Between the house and the mountain is the Sun Creek, beautiful rainbows are often seen in the spring.So this is also called "Rainbow Valley". There is also sapphire spring nearby, need to make an appointment to Taipei water conservancy department first. The home is "bedroom # 2" of 4 rooms in the whole building, is an elegant room for 2 people.The wet and dry separation bathroom facilities are shared and are all custom-made double basin sets. The part of the kitchen, simple heating only, does not provide cooking. Formal breakfast is not included in the fee. Through a working holiday, a specialised photoshoot gives citizens and international friends the opportunity to participate in preserving historical and cultural scenes, building maintenance warranties You are welcome to participate. Stay in this historic vacation home with well-preserved, classical building materials and antique furnishings in the enchanted home.Like entering the Time capsule, allowing you to go in the past in an instant. Bird language in the spring, summer in the cool breeze, the negative ion in the air in the rainy season, the wood-burning fireplace in the winter, is a must-have highlight of this home. * Large new windows and doors with good ventilation, in order not to let the air-conditioning devices deprive people of the opportunity to breathe fresh natural air and fendor, at the suggestion of many guests who come before us, we do not have air conditioning and no TV, but there is a projection device.

Spacious and comfortable top floor unit, with large windows and outdoor space. Easy access to public transportation (between Taipower Building and Gongguan MRT stops on Green Line), good food, and convenience markets. Clean and modern unit as described in photos, although showing some wear, and kitchen not as well-equipped as other places we’ve stayed. Joy met us for check in, and she and Edward (co-hosts) were helpful and responded quickly to our requests and inquiries. As others have mentioned, there was loud construction (major) across the street during our stay in mid-May, but we are early risers and out during much of the day, so it did not bother us as much as it could for others. Overall, we enjoyed the overall comfort and convenience provided by the apartment.

Our priority for our short stay in (very loud) Taipei was to find a place where we would be able to recharge after a day of sightseeing, get away from the noise, and sleep well at night. Zev's apartment was a great fit for us. It's located in a side street with less traffic. The apartment has great noise-proof windows. It also has blackout curtains that make it pitch black at night. We didn't hear any neighbors apart from people walking down the hallway on the same floor. The apartment is very tiny - tinier that we expected but for a short 3-day stay it was fine. The bathroom is also small but with sufficient space to lay out all your stuff by the sink as well as take a comfortable shower in the cabin. The entire building is new. So new in fact that it wasn't fully finished inside. But we didn't hear any construction noise. It was nice to stay in a modern building in a modern apartment. Apart from not getting the Wi-Fi password the first day, communication with the host was fine.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location was excellent—close to everything we needed, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and attractions. The apartment was exactly as described: clean, well-maintained, and very quiet, making it perfect for a comfortable stay. The only small downside is that there’s no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage up five floors. However, once inside, the space is cozy and welcoming, making it well worth the climb. Overall, a great place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it!

This listing is located in a peaceful location yet close to the subways and main street. The listing was easy to locate in a relatively peaceful location. We loved how the listing was well equipped with a lot of amenities and provided travelling quests with essential items such as the Electric Airpot(Hot water dispenser), additional pillows, blankets etc. All these were extremely helpful in the cold weather. The feel and decor is cozy and allow us to feel relaxed when we are back. Host was exceptionally friendly and good to communicate with. Requests for items such as Tissue boxes were addressed promptly the next morning. Host also dropped by to pass on snacks and drinks for the New Year Eve which added to the great hospitality that we received. Great house, Great location and Great host :)

This is a small studio apartment on a floor with several other apartments, attentive staff during business hours, and a very convenient, quiet, residential neighborhood. The room itself is basic, and really only comfortable for a solo traveler or a couple. Very tall people may find the bed to be short, but it was comfortable. There was cleaning offered every other day. The floor is run by a group from the local church, and a staff member with good English skills is there to help during business hours. Several local people rent adjacent apartments. You should also plan to be quiet, and to be respectful of some lightly Christian decoration in the shared hallways. There is a delightful private courtyard and easy access from the road in a very residential neighborhood just north of 大安 park. You won't find nightlife or even many restaurants close, but the park is the main draw. Early risers will find many groups practicing tai chi and other Chinese exercises. You can even join in!

Lilian's apartment had everything my wife and I needed for a relaxing weekend in Toucheng. The unit is conveniently located a stone's throw from the waterfront, with several fine eating establishments an easy walk away (in particular, we recommend the recently opened 浪花點心 for a simple, delicious breakfast with an ocean view). The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, and clean, with a generously sized bathroom and sitting area. We have stayed in close to ten different AirBnb properties around Toucheng, and this was one of our favorites. Would (will) certainly stay here again on a return visit.

This place was beyond our expectations! It was located by Yongkang Market, near the Dongmen MRT. So many great shopping and food options surrounding it. The property itself was comfortable and cozy. I absolutely adore how family-oriented it was; they had provided all baby and toddler equipment. My daughter especially loved the slide and toys made available. We are so grateful for the responsiveness and friendliness of the host!

Overall it’s a great experience! It’s a super convenient location, close to Shilin MRT, and near a traditional market plus lots of eateries. It would be great if there were a dryer in the unit as some foreigners are more used to having one. There is a washer. Clothes stick & hangers are provided for hanging wet clothes on the balcony. But as I know, most households in Taiwan don’t use dryers.
