Pet-friendly vacation rentals in New Mexico

A group of four high school friends stayed at Lynn’s over a long weekend and it was a perfect retreat. The area is stunning and it’s easy to get to so many wonderful things in Abiquiu. Great for sunset walks, coffee on the porch, stargazing, and morning runs. Lynn was kind and very responsive. We’ll be back!

Spectacular location with the scenery and peaceful surroundings. We loved the hot tub, watching the sunsets! Make sure you bring your food supplies since you are a way from any grocery store, but the remoteness is part of the appeal of this home. We spent a wonderful day at the Ghost Ranch and another touring Georgia O’Keefe’s home in Abiquiu, an amazing part of New Mexico, and to be so comfortable at this home was quite a treat!

As always enjoyed our stay and the pool there ! Host is always friendly and attentive to our needs will be back !

Incredible spot close to Santa Fe- the drive is beautiful and this place is nestled in a very cozy and quiet spot! We really enjoyed our stay at Ryan and Johanna’s spot- they have thoughtfully created a very beautiful space on their lovely property! Everything is better than pictured- it’s so clean and well stocked! Fantastic hosts, very kind, easy to chat with and our kiddos loved getting to meet their pets! If we make our way back to the area again we will for sure book here!

Saundra was a wonderful host. She went out of her way to be helpful. Recommending restaurants, hikes, offering to help leave our vehicle strategically for a hike and purchasing an air filter for the Casita. The location was so convenient to many great hikes! It was equally convenient to the “city”. It was about 20 minutes from all modern conveniences and NMS. That being said when you are in the “country” you have to expect animal sounds. The nearby neighbor had a variety of animals including goats, alpaca or llama(not sure), goats, dogs and chickens with a rooster. If we kept the window closed we could sleep through the rooster. Unfortunately while we were there we encountered many dust storms. The area hadn’t had any rain in 3 months which was unusual. The casita had its own walled courtyard. It was so easy to just open the door and let our dog out. We had garage space with a washer and dryer. The king size bed was memory foam and very comfortable. Beautiful sunsets!

beautiful home, we were at peace with being surrounded by nature. the house is one part and the state of NM was just as beautiful. Thank you for having us stay at such an amazing place.

My husband and I spent his 50th birthday at this cozy private and beautiful spot just outside of Taos, NM. We wanted chill, serene, nature, beauty, sunrises & sunsets with hot-tub and this place met that, but also exceeded our expectations. The whole construction of the house was built with intention and purpose. The host Melissa was there for us when we needed a couple questions answered and also provided us with spot on recommendations. We felt like we were taken care of the minute we got to our airbnb. We were able to enjoy Taos at our pace and have the most cozy and relaxing retreat like home to come home to everyday and rest and relax. The place was spotless clean and you could feel the fresh good energy there. Also perfect for any artist who likes to be creative. I felt like we found a gem and reason to continue to come back here to explore more of NM, but we want to stay here again - already planning our next trip! Thank you for such an amazing experience! This stay was such a great experience, it was easy to access, park, and walkable to the nearby restaurants and cafes. Walking to get a tea at Beans of Mesillo was a nice morning routine. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Just a note that there is only one enclosed bedroom, which worked fine for us, just plan accordingly!

Lovely atmosphere and accommodations. Barbara is a wonderful host. Highly recommend as a delightful unique getaway in the city.

What a beautiful property and Casita! We enjoyed it so much and so did our dogs. We especially loved that the casita had a private fenced in backyard for the dogs to roam and use the restroom. What a great place! Would absolutely stay again!

We had a fantastic mini-vacation at Vincent’s place. We stayed for four nights, and chose this location for quick availability, acceptance of pets, and heated pool and hot tub. The place was spotless, it smelled amazingly clean when we first walked in. The beds were cozy, kitchen was beautiful. The heated pool was an absolute blast, and perfectly heated so that it didn’t feel too warm or too cold with the changing weather. On one of the mornings there were a lot of bugs in the pool and when we couldn’t find a skimmer, Vincent kindly brought us one and ensured the pool cleaners came out too. Props to the pool cleaners as they were quick and thorough! We felt safe and cared for the entire duration of our stay and would certainly stay again.

The cabin was a great place to stay. Michele and Jim we're very helpful and quick to answer all our questions. They we're able to accommodate to our needs with short notice. Best of all, the views from the deck are great!

We stayed here for a week, and would have stayed longer if it was available. The space is small but very thoughtfully laid out with more amenities than some Airbnbs we’ve stayed at that were three times the size. I’m almost six feet tall and was worried the low ceilings in the loft would bother me, but they really weren’t a problem. The skylight at the top of the staircase is one of those thoughtful elements, making it easy to transition from the high ceilings downstairs to the low upstairs. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, with lots of local knowledge they’re happy to share. And the location is great, in a quiet neighborhood close to the best spots in Santa Fe.

The most perfect location. So many places you can walk to. The coolest secluded area within the city. One of our most favorite airbnbs we’ve stayed in!

This place felt like home. It was cozy and peaceful. My favorite part about staying here was the location. It was on the river and walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.

An absolutely healing and wonderful stay! If you’re a solo traveler looking for an adventure, this is the place for you! I felt so safe, the tiny home was just perfect, the hot tub under the stars…..magical (not to mention being just a few minutes away from swimming in the rio grande). Jayme and Doug are sweethearts and also extremely responsive. I’ll be back!

This was the cutest air bnb I’ve ever stayed at! Katie and Robert are such kind and responsive hosts. The llamas were adorable!

Enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed. Hot tub, steam room and the deck were some of my favorite areas. Everything was clean and homey. We came up to Taos to explore and go fly fishing. This was a good relaxing place after a day of adventure, exploration and catching. The hosts were friendly. We didn’t have to interact much because their instructions were clear left no confusion. This was a good thing. This very well could be a repeat stay in the near future.

This place is very special. Very unique. Anthony really cares about the casita and keeping his guests happy. Great neighborhood! Wonderful restaurants close by. We will definitely come back!

My family and I traveled to Las Cruces so I could attend a conference— we’ve stayed at many airbnbs, and I was truly amazed by Jessica’s place. The house is even better than the photos. You can tell she has an interest in interior design, every room is intended to make you feel comfortable. I had the best sleep I’ve had in weeks there. The spa shower and hot tub certainly contributed to that as well. The cost of the stay was much less expensive than many local hotels. Jessica is very kind and responds to messages. We are looking forward to staying again, what a special place. Absolutely recommend this spot.

The scenery at the bunkhouse is beautiful. The bunkhouse is very charming and lovely. The horses are so sweet.

Staying at Kendra and Jon’s tiny home was an absolute delight! From start to finish, their communication was top-notch—warm, prompt, and incredibly helpful. They made everything seamless and stress-free, answering all our questions with such kindness and clarity. The tiny home itself was beautifully designed, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay cozy and memorable. You can tell Kendra and Jon put a lot of care into both the space and the guest experience. Whether it was the comfy bed, the well-stocked kitchenette, or the peaceful surroundings, every detail was just right. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a more charming place to stay. Highly, highly recommend this little gem—and we’d absolutely love to return!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were visiting for a visit to the nearby Ojo Caliente Hotsprings, and I could not have found a better place to stay. The cabin was artistically inspiring, deeply cozy, beautifully decorated, and in the most serene brook-side forest nook. Mary Ellen was delightfully helpful and responsive; proactively reaching out to us and supporting all questions we had. We all hope to stay here again!
