This updated cabin has all the amenities you will need during your stay. “Casa Bonita” feels cozy but is the perfect retreat for some rest & relaxation. This single level cabin sleeps up to 4 comfortably & consists of 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. This cabin has a double deck for enjoying the outdoors. This cabin includes a hot tub on the lower deck to truly relax & enjoy the mountain air. This cabin is minutes from town!

Chameleon, Rustic Cabin, Unit 1 with private deck
Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, 5 max. 2 double beds in the bedroom, & daybed for an extra person. Cooking Hot plate & electric appliances. Open deck on the Pecos River w/outdoor fireplace unless Fireban in place. Community bathhouse with toilets & showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Other rentals on property, another rustic casita is in close proximity. Pergola screen is up. Road noise is heard, especially during peak travel times.

Cabin 6 is our most popular unit. With wood log walls inside it's about 900 sq. ft and sleeps up to 5 people. It's got a full size fridge, gas stove, microwave and a full set of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. There's a wood burning stove plus gas and electric heaters. It has a large foyer/entryway for all your outdoor gear. The patio out back offers unobstructed views to the lake, while the log bench out front is a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over Wheeler Peak, NM's tallest.

The cabin sets in a meadow looking at the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, A pond and lush green grass make this a special place. The cabin has all of the amenities including Wifi. It has running water, a bathroom and a full kitchen, but the special part is the beautiful setting. The entrance of the property borders the Rio de La Casa, a small river running with clear mountain runoff. You may see sheep grazing the meadows, the quiet solitude in this beautiful valley will bring peace to your soul.
