Kid-friendly vacation rentals in New London

A perfect long weekend getaway for my wife, 2 toddlers and infant. Relaxing and great location. The little beach access just a short walk away was amazing. Already thinking about going back.

It’s feels like pressure to write a review that stands up to ALL the other incredible reviews. I suppose we should stop there because that says it all. But we will add this: Ellie and Tower either wrote the book on hospitality or they read it 100 times. There is no doubt you will get the sense that everything is done with an eye to making you happy and comfortable…. And they do that in Spades. If this place caught your eye… act now… it will capture your heart as well.

Rosemary’s house is beautiful and was perfect for our stay! There was 8 of us and it was just right!

I loved how organized Kathy was with her communication and sharing of information. I didn’t have to search for a thing. Everything went as expected (which rarely happens in the real world)! We were very pleased with our visit and the space she provided for us. It was clean, comfortable and the location was fantastic!

Our stay at Francesca's place was absolutely perfect! The house was exactly as described, and even more beautiful in person. It was spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. Francesca was incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The location was ideal, within walking distance to Ocean Beach park and a 20-minute drive to the Naval Submarine Base New London. We particularly loved the colorful and vibrant decor throughout the house, which added to the cheerful atmosphere. Though we were three adults, we were impressed by how well-stocked the space was with games and activities for little ones, a very thoughtful touch! The kitchen, beds and baths were well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the character of this charming, older home and noticed the thoughtful renovations. It's clear Francesca is putting a lot of care into the property. Thankful we were able to create wonderful memories while visiting our sailor.

The house was very clean, with a beautiful, large, well stocked kitchen. The view was lovely and it was wonderful hanging out on the deck. The beds were very comfortable. The house would be a little more practical if one of the bedrooms had two beds, so more people could sleep in the actual bedrooms. The pull out beds were not as comfortable and the bed in the loft is only accessible with a ladder. However, for a small group or people who aren’t picky about their sleeping arrangements it is a fantastic place to stay. You can’t beat the view and proximity to the water!

Our 3 day stay at Mystic Manor counts as one of our best ever AirBnB experiences. The house is charming with a tasteful New England flavor, well-equipped and well-located. The hosts provide clear instructions for accessing & using the home's amenities, & respond very quickly to any questions or issues. We hardly used the furnished backyard, but can imagine its potential in nice weather. We were 4 adults, so 2 full bathrooms are useful. Two of us slept in the master bedroom, 1 in the 2nd bedroom, & 1 in the small room off the living room on the daybed, all very comfortably. Plenty of towels, linens, storage space, & everything is very clean. The dining room & living room were comfortable spaces for the 4 of us to hang out together after our active days. We didn't cook, but saw that the kitchen seemed to have whatever you could need. The house is in a quiet residential area, but only 5 minutes down the hill & you are on Main Street, with its shops & eateries. Thank you Kyle & Jen!

Peter’s place was clean, quiet, and just what I needed for a peaceful escape. The location by the ocean felt private and calming. Everything was well-kept, super clean, and comfortable. I’d definitely stay again for a relaxing getaway.

Jennifer's place was a great option for us in the chaos of finding a wedding spot in Memorial Day weekend. We flew with our little one for the first time and needed a place that would be able to accommodate us. The availability of a pack-and-play, a high chair, and other helpful baby items made our stay much easier and less stressful. We were comfortable, in a great area, and the communication was amazing.

This was a nice and clean apartment with easy parking. We were using it as a crash pad while in town to visit some family and it was ideal for that. No complaints, and I may just book this again next time I’m in town!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Holly’s place! We were traveling with 2 adults, an 18 year old and significant other and 2 teenagers and the amount of space was perfect! Everyone had room to spread out. The apartment had all the things you love about old homes, but all the updates that make life easier. The homemade banana bread that Holly left for us was such a personal touch and it was delicious. Erica greeted us with a warm welcome even though we arrived well past midnight. My daughter enjoyed reading in the cozy sitting area by the window. It was fun to watch the Hallmark movie that was filmed there. We fast forwarded the cheesy parts and enjoyed seeing the house in the movie. The area is peaceful and quaint. There’s a Dunkin about 5 minutes away, too which made our early mornings a little easier. Highly recommend if you’re traveling with a family!

Great spot to stay in Mystic. Clean, comfortable, and easy to reach from the train. Close to the downtown with lots of great shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Marianne’s place was very nice. It suited my wife and I just fine. Clean, fresh, and just the right size for the 2 of us. Parking was VERY convenient and the location was perfect. Everything worked well - door lock, water pressure, lighting, TV, Internet - no problems at all. We had a very nice stay.

Beautiful fall stay at Jo’s! Loved the space, amenities, and especially all the directions and recommendations for the area. Will definitely come back again if we are in the area.

We had a fantastic experience! The home is in the perfect walkable location to all of the shops and restaurants in mystic. The home is clean, looks just like the photos, and the owner is extremely detailed with arrival information. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. We will definitely stay here again!

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.

We stayed in town for an event at Mohegan Sun. The flexible check in was helpful as we got in late at night. The place was clean and welcoming.
