Beautifully Restored and huge townhouse, sleeps 14

RobbieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay. It's a three-floor townhome with plenty of space. Street parking was readily available. There are train tracks right there, but the trains were not bothersome, were fun for kids to look at, and I found it a bit refreshing to listen to them (they weren't loud at all). We would definitely stay there again.

Meredith’s house was an absolutely perfect spot for our family in our long weekend in Pittsburgh. Perfect location in an amazing location with all the amenities you could possibly imagine. Our 3 year old daughter loved the extra toys and books as needed. We come to Pittsburgh yearly, and we WILL be back.

Historic South Side Home • Former Convent

TomRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This home was perfect for our family US Open trip this year. The home was spacious enough that we weren’t on top of one another, was ideally located with great restaurants within walking distance, and ample parking for us. Our hosts were always gracious, the property was beautiful, and it was great imagining the history of this convent. We will definitely be back the next time our family returns to the Pittsburgh area.

Joel and his place were outstanding. Extremely helpful from start to finish. His 4 bedroom was perfect for us due to proximity to downtown, local restaurants and quick to get to US Open. I can't say enough about his communications, responsiveness and instructions for his bnb... we didn't have to think about anything but to just enjoy ourselves. You will love your stay.

Place was a great stay!! Host was a great communicator and always responsive! Enough space for us to enjoy and easy access for us to get around to all the activities we had planned. Parking was maybe the only quirk, streets were quite full and was tough to find a spot but we always found one within a block or two! Really enjoyed our time and would totally rent from again. Spaced was super clean and amenable!

Our family from California loved the old house. They are used to new construction & thought the house was charming. Deena was very responsive. Full bathroom on the first floor was great for grandma & the crib on the second floor was great for the baby in the family.

Avant-Garde Escape by Walnut

When I reached out for some coffee pods at 9:00 PM — they were at the front door within a half hour! I couldn’t believe how responsive Prafful was. The only suggestion I would have is for a small AC unit for the 3rd floor. The kids loved watching TV up there but it got warm. There were some fans available but in the heat of the summer they may not be enough for a good night’s rest. Other than that we found this house very accommodating and we had a memorable time. I loved the area too. Checkout was a breeze which was much appreciated.

We were in town for Pitt graduation. Very nice place to stay, priced fairly. Clean and comfortable. Good tavern right around the corner. Close to where we needed to be with easy access to major roads. It's a typical city type neighborhood, not noisy though. If I get back to Pittsburgh I would absolutley stay here again, Jessica was a great host.

Charming 5 bed Rowhouse | Downtown,Stadiums,Strip

AnthonyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Well-priced row home in the Troy Hill neighborhood on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Just a short walk around the corner to start the day with coffee and a breakfast sandwich at the Garden Café, and an easy stroll down the street to end it with a beer and pub fare at Penn Brewery. Convenient location with quick access to downtown and easy on/off from Rte 28 or I-279. Vinial Street is a common pass-through for cars, and with Rte 28 at the end of the block, a sound machine is helpful for light sleepers. We didn’t need to contact the host during our stay—everything was exactly as listed, with clear instructions for check-in, check-out, Wi-Fi, house rules, and more. I especially appreciated the minimal-effort checkout: just stack used towels on the floor and place trash in the bin—no need to strip beds, take out trash, or start laundry. Older home, so the occasional bug is to be expected, but nothing out of the ordinary. A solid crash pad if you’re in town for a sporting event, as we were.

Diane and I had little communication during our stay . In my opinion this is good because we were able to manage very well with the house. Everything , since getting and out was easy. We were 5 people , and we felt the house as our home. This is important to us. The house was clean and neat , and comfortable . Location was good for our purpose. 2 or 3 minutes to the super and other stores. 30 minutes from Pittsburg . Because we went to there for Thanksgiving celebration with the parents of our daughter’s fiance, Pittsburg wasn’t our primary goal . In general I recommend Diane’s house. You will feel very comfortable .
