Lake house vacation rentals in New Jersey

I can’t image giving this place anything less than 5 stars! I’m already looking forward to my next stay at Anar’s Lakeside Villa. There was plenty of space for everyone and all the essentials are included. But honestly, even though were was a game room, no one wanted to stay in because the patio in the backyard was so stunning! There’s a beautiful fire pit in the middle we were able to make s’mores on, the chairs were comfortable, and right on the other side you’re able to see the water and boats. During the day we were able to play games in the actual backyard, and then chill in the covered area at night. That being said, outside of the house/backyard patio being great, the area surrounding the house has plenty to do. There is a lake for kayaking or boat rentals (my favorite), great hiking trails (reach out to Anar for recommendations, she has plenty), and shops to purchase food if you’re looking to use the grills/fire pit. Overall, 10000/10, but Airbnb will only let me give it a 5.

Katty was a fabulous host! She was easy to communicate with, was proactive in getting us all details needed for our stay, and was very friendly. The home was exactly as pictured and was the perfect place for two families of 4 to spend a week. We enjoyed having separate spaces to spend time- the game room and movie room worked especially well for our group. The accommodations were super welcoming. And the location right on the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking throughout the week and having lakeside coffee each morning. Katty left sweet touches- snacks for the kids and the parents! She was also super helpful with recommendations for restaurants, ice cream, beach info, etc. We’d highly recommend spending time relaxing at Katty’s place!

We had a wonderful holiday weekend at the lake house. The views and outdoor space are breathtaking. It is so wonderful for adults and kids. The house looks just like the photos, it was comfortable and clean. Owners are responsive, kind and always gave us suggestions on what to do each day in the area. We highly recommended staying here and would gladly stay again!

Katie was amazing! Very responsive and took care of everything immediately to make us feel at home. We were unaware that we had to bring our own bedding and Katie handled the situation with grace and allowed us to use her personal items, and compensated us for the inconvenience. Overall the stay was amazing, the house was beautiful, clean and well put together. Staying at Katie’s place is a must if you are in the area! Thank you Katie for a great stay!

The place was wonderful and it exceeded all expectations. With as many people we had we still had plenty of room through out the house which was really nice. Parking is alittle tight if u decide to have a bigger family but it’s not terrible and easy to figure out but all and all it was an amazing weekend here with my family. Also the back porch on the water is a great place to hangout and night a socialize!

We loved our stay! The lake house was very cozy, peaceful and relaxing. The lake views were absolutely gorgeous with direct access and a dock with kayaks for use. The hot tub was perfect for two with great views of lake. All the trees and flowers were beautiful. It was awesome to have coffee in the morning outside and watch the birds and turtles. The bed was very comfortable and a great open and light kitchen with new appliances. Lots to do in the area and at house. Wonderful close by resteraunts. Out host was great to work with and very friendly too! Thanks so much Yan Yan Li! Highly recommend and would love to return for another visit!

We rented over Christmas to be near our family for the holiday. Upon check in there was the issue of a frozen pipe, but the hosts were very accommodating and set us up in the main house. Extremely clean, warm, and welcoming it made for the perfect holiday away from our home. My husband was able to whip up desserts in the kitchen for us to bring to family, the backyard was spacious and for our dogs to run and play, and my young daughter felt right at home as did the rest of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would be back again in a heartbeat and highly recommended!

Jay was a great host and the property was wonderful. My group and I do a trip to renn fair every year and would love to come back!

we found everything as described - great location, with lake view and access to the lake via sizeable and well equipped dock (two kayaks, paddle board etc. . Janice and her husband were very accessible and nice. Can't wait to return there... . J

A great deal at the price especially with the location. Couldn’t really ask for anything more. Great water pressure and great lighting. The ping pong table is junior size so beware haha. Would rent again.

The was an amazing rental. Very clean spacious and the play room for kids was a must !!! Gaurav was very responsive and was able to check in early the day of which was amazing. The street was very quiet and peaceful. The walk to the beach was quick and easy and the badge chairs and umbrella which were included with rental was such a life saver. This was also a quick 5 min ride to belmar… would 100% recommend this rental and looking to book again in future

Sneathen Mill is wonderful. Ernesto is a thoughtful host, taking care of every detail. His kitchen was fully equipped. His instructions were thorough and clear. Ernesto was very responsive to our questions while there. The 250-year-old house is quaint but light and airy. It has so much history and character as well as all the modern conveniences, including a/c. Its setting , on a lake , is peaceful and beautiful. It is a gem nestled in the cornfields of Bridgeton, NJ.

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely beautiful—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully maintained. It had everything we needed and more. It really added something special to our weekend and helped create some amazing memories. Thank you for providing such a lovely space!

Would stay here again! Great for large groups, lots of different areas to hang out in. The side and back yards are well kept and such beautifully landscaped. The water toys were the highlight of the weekend! Shahriq was responsive when we had an issue with the water in the upstairs bathroom (thanks Shahriq!). Definitely book!

Home exceeded our expectations. Host was friendly, communicative & greeted us @ check-in to be sure we got inside ok. We did not need to reach out during our stay. Everything was exactly as described/pictured. Perfect getaway in a quiet part of town but close to the hustle of beaches, restaurants & attractions. Beautiful neighborhood, extremely clean, well organized home w/ friendly neighbors, relaxing porch, beautiful, hydrangeas in front & backyard space. Indoors was perfect mix of exremely modern & the charm of many childhood homes. Endless amenities in the home with fully stocked, dream kitchen, master bedroom with ensuite, two additional bedrooms and 2 additional updated full baths, welcome treat, grill, beach towels & chairs, perfect temperature in the heat of our stay, extra lighting, places to charge phones & extra plush blankets for relaxing after a hot day on the beach. The perfect amount of space to separate from family members or spend time with them. Place is a gem

Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. We had all the comforts of home and more. The house was spacious and the bedrooms were placed just perfect to have privacy. We used the guide book that was arranged so that we would know where the best grocery stores were and other amenities. Thank you for such perfect accommodations!

I stayed here with a few friends for my 25th birthday, and the space felt like home! Shawn's listing was so cozy, clean, and private... felt like living in a house with all of my besties! Shawn was responsive, proactive, and checked in periodically throughout the visit. Check-in and out were seamless, everything was easy to find, and the temperature was comfortable; we made such a good choice to stay here!

Our stay at Tuckerton Bay Paradise was relaxing, peaceful, and comfortable. From grandparents, adult children, grandkids, to grandpup, there was something for all. The home is well organized and beautifully decorated. The garage is stocked with water toys. The back yard and dock area kept up us well entertained. The best airbnb thus far for me! Great location and house. It suited our needs perfectly for Thanksgiving week with family. We thoroughly enjoyed the musical instruments, records, games, and fire pit. The home is older but full of character and charm. It has excellent Wi-Fi for remote working. The kitchen is well appointed; we cooked several meals throughout the week. Walking distance or a quick drive to many great restaurants. Communication was quick and easy.

We had a great stay here and Kevin was incredibly responsive and friendly. His place was very clean upon arrival and was great for a short trip!
