We felt very comfortable at the place. Everything was clean and well-maintained, the kitchen well-equipped – ideal if you want to cook or bake yourself. The location is quiet, with beautiful views, and hiking trails start right outside the door. The contact with the hostess was friendly and straightforward.

There were five of us in the house on a long weekend and we were very excited about the great atmosphere! Everything was just right, the house is very lovingly furnished with a lot of style and totally cozy! The amenities were great, there was nothing missing. Beautiful bedrooms with good beds, the kitchen and dining room were a dream, not only beautiful, but also very functional. In addition, there was a very well-equipped living room upstairs. Georg has expanded everything with old half-timbered beams and many loving little details. The garden with a swivel grill, loungers and garden furniture enchanted us with its mixture of naturalness and order. Georg and Andrea were always approachable and available, helped us very courteously and are really friendly and nice hosts! We hiked a lot, the forests around Aremberg are ideally suited for this. In the village, there is the "Burgschänke" restaurant with good food and a terrace with panoramic views.

Marie-Louise is an incredibly friendly person with an idyllically located house (bisons in front of the window included). The kitchen is fully equipped, which we have rarely experienced. It is beautifully quiet and our daughter also loved the surroundings, which invite you to hike. Children's equipment such as a highchair and crib are also available. The nearby playground should also be mentioned. Bad Münstereifel is about 10 minutes by car, where you can find shops for shopping or restaurants. There is also a small garden or courtyard. We will be happy to come back.

Highly recommended! After we received some information in advance, we were warmly welcomed at the property with many tips. Caspar's house has been completely renovated with a lot of love for detail. We lacked nothing as a family! Kitchen is super well equipped, so you can cook for a family without any problems. Relaxation is provided by the infrared sauna and the great bathtub. The oven and the furnishings make it really cozy! The beds are also very comfortable. By car, you can reach some excursion destinations relatively quickly and in Blankenheim there are also a few nice corners to see. The bakery is just a stone's throw away. If we had any questions, we received an answer in no time. Simply super! We would definitely return!

Lucie and Marius' place is simply enchanting. With a lot of love for detail, an old barn was brought back to life here. We felt very comfortable from the beginning. On the day of arrival, we got to know Lucie and Marius. Two really very kind and friendly people, with whom we immediately felt welcome. Our three children loved to play in the garden and especially in the great gym. The balcony has fantastic views of the surrounding area. The village of Gees is located just outside of Gerolstein. To do something, you should be mobile. We have been able to explore such fantastic destinations in the area. We can fully recommend a vacation with Lucie and Marius. However, as a family with very small children, you should know that there are many stairs in the house. With a little care, that was no problem at all for our children (5 and 3 years and 1 year).

Over Easter 2025, we had a great time in Christine's house; the ancient house was very well maintained and we felt very comfortable right away. The kitchen-living room corresponded exactly to the descriptions and we spent beautiful evening hours playing games near the fireplace. The equipment was more than adequate and the large gas stove and the large electric oven "a force". Located right in the old town, it was very quiet (we quickly got used to the church tower clock). The best location for walks and for geocaching; a local butcher and a small bakery left nothing to be desired here. The small restaurant "Brasserie an der Ahr" is highly recommended - reservation is necessary. All three of us were very satisfied with the accommodation (a house from 1603) and can only recommend Christine's hospitality to everyone.

One of the best places I have stayed. Beautiful old building, very cosy, clean, extremely well equipped (there was absolutely nothing we missed), nice furniture, beautifully decorated. It felt like home. The calming river outside and the nice views completed the experience. Must be the nicest place in Monschau!

Everything was to our liking and if things were wrong something was immediately arranged. they were super friendly. gave us good tips about the neighborhood

We stayed here for a few days. We spend the days touring on our motorbikes, great surroundings! The house does’t have a garden, but we loved sitting outside on the bench in front of the house after a day touring. The little village is peaceful. The house had everything we needed. Hildegard is very friendly and helpful. Loved staying at her place.

My husband and I were able to relax and felt very comfortable. The apartment is clean and we enjoyed the beautiful view into the garden on the terrace. We will be happy to come back. Extremely recommended!

We had a good time with Julia and Norbert, we didn't miss anything. The region is perfect for people seeking tranquility and relaxation in nature. The Siebengebirge can be explored very well on its numerous forest and hiking trails by e-bike. A very special experience is the Dachenburg Castle with its castle ruins. We were at the Rock am Ring festival over the Pentecost weekend and found a great place to stay at Myriam's. The old apartment has a lot of charm due to the high ceilings and the old wooden floor. The decor is stylish and we felt right at home. The only problem we had was that the shower curtain was unfortunately too short, so that water always ran out when showering. The second time, we tried to fix the process in a good position with hair clips. It was always a little cumbersome, but it wasn't that bad. In addition, the towels were very thin, which was not so comfortable when drying. Apart from that, the accommodation was perfect and communication with Myriam was impeccable! She was very friendly and helpful. We had a good time and were able to relax in a comfortable bed and return to the festival the next day rested. Will come again any time!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The property is amazing and has everything you need for a holiday. It is spacious, beautiful, very clean and has an outstanding balcony, facing the river and a castle. What more to wish for? The balcony is also located above ground so it gives plenty of privacy. Tom and Tina are super friendly, easy to communicate with, helpful and provide clear instructions and a helpful tour at the start. Recommendations about local restaurants and amenities are also available. If that was not enough, they offer a complimentary bottle of wine from the local winery! Amazing to start a holiday or a weekend like that. Finally, each bank of the Rhein is easily accessible by ferry, which is less than a 5 minute drive from the property, so the location is excellent, whichever part of the river you want to explore. Our stay in Silke's apartment was very nice. However, the room has changed a bit compared to the photos, but certainly not in a bad way! We would definitely come back again if we had to be in the region again.
