Lovely place to stay plenty of local places to take the dog for a walk and within a 20-25 minute drive you could access numerous other places and towns to visit. Lovely stay and place the hot tub was nice to relax in after long days.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped, making us feel right at home. The area and scenery were beautiful, making for the perfect relaxing stay.

We had a fantastic family holiday with our two children. the house has everything you will need and Marisa was very helpful during our stay. The kids loved the chickens and the hot tub! Great rural location close to lots of great sights Thanks for having us! x

We have just had a fantastic stay at The Lamp Post. We were absolutely blown away by the accommodation. Steve and Andrea have thought of absolutely everything. The whole place is luxury and pristine. The hot tub is so easy to use and definitely an extra added bonus to what is a beautiful place to stay. Thank you so much - we will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic stay here for 4 nights. It was beautifully clean and had everything and more we needed. Such lovely hosts, very responsive should you need them. Great location! Such an easy drive to a lot of places. We visited Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, Thornton Le Dale and more! All under 1 hours drive away. Cottage is so homely and very welcoming 😊 Amazing that each room has their own en-suite. Beds are so comfy! Downstairs bedroom was great for us with someone in the party having mobility issues. Games room is a fabulous touch! Sauna and hot tub both very clean. Highly recommend to stay here. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🥰

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

We’ve had the most wonderful time staying here. The Loft is spotless, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The views from the hot tub are breathtaking , it’s genuinely like stepping into a postcard! The perfect location for exploring The Dales. What a magical escape! We’ve just spent the most wonderful three days in this beautiful hideaway, and it’s been everything we hoped for and more. Tucked away in such peaceful surroundings, the hideaway was cozy, charming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home, milk, eggs, fresh bread to name a few. We enjoyed long walks through the Yorkshire countryside. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Thank you for creating such a special retreat.

We had a lovely time, explored the local village, as well as short car drives to Helmsley and Thirsk. The cottage was spotless, with comfortable beds, quality bedding and extremely well equipped kitchen. A peaceful garden with fabulous views. The Writer's Cottage was everything we expected, and a whole load more. Quirky and individual don't go near to describing it! Heath's welcome was great (even though we arrived considerably earlier than expected) and his local knowledge and recommendations were awesome. We used it as a base for lovely walks from the property, and slightly further afield to the National Mining Museum (new to us, highly recommended) and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (an old favourite) near Wakefield. Useful information (might already be covered in the listing) - It is not remotely suitable for young people who cannot be "trusted" (lots of lovely but small, sharp, heavy, unsteady objects). People with reduced mobility should probably check with Heath too. Other points (which did not cause us any issues) the kitchen was fine but there is no microwave / dishwasher / washing machine / tumble dryer. We would love to stay again if back in the area.

A beautifully renovated cottage ideally located for our visit. Everything in the cottage has been finished to a very high standard making it comfortable and practical without fussiness. Tracey was quick to respond to any questions and the welcome pack provided all the information we needed.

Lovely house, comfortable, clean and warm (the weather was miserable!). Everything worked well, plenty of supplies, we had a great time.

Emma's place was simply gorgeous! We loved our stay and couldn't stop marvelling at the beautiful location. The cottage was pristine and comfortable and even bigger and more beautiful than the photos. The surroundings and the views from every window were amazing. Emma was a lovely host, helpful and flexible. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We were delighted to be be back in Masham again. Everyone is so friendly, and it’s ideal for visiting or walking in the Dales and the many lovely places nearby. The cottage itself is in a great location too - in the corner of the Market place, yet quiet and peaceful. It has everything we could ask for and is very clean and cosy. Thank you Ulicia, we hope to return again before too long!

Had a lovely few days at Titus. Wow what a stunning location with views to die for! The space was beautifully decorated and clean, yet homely with all the home comforts you'll ever need. Great communications with the hosts, who went the extra mile to help us out when a local utility went down. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely place to stay. Lydia was proactive in asking questions regarding our stay. Left out a few games/books for the kids to use. Also recommended places to eat in the local area. Would be lovely to stay again.

Old Forge Cottage was very stylish and comfortable. Great open plan downstairs with smart kitchen area, comfy sofa and separate modern shower room. Fabulous spiral staircase to comfy bed on mezzanine level. I loved it! Wrelton is a small village with pub and bus service in beautiful countryside. I walked to Pickering (as buses not frequent), to catch the morning North York Moors Railway train to Whitby (full day). Visited stunning Whitby Abbey and enjoyed exploring all the shops and eateries along bustling cobbled lanes. Bus rides to Kirbymoreside, Helmsley and Thornton le Dale to visit Mathewsons and Baldersons cafe (tasty breakfast and ice cream!). Coastliner bus all across NY Moors to Whitby and another bus all along the coast to Staithes and Saltburn. Olwen is a lovely lady, extremely helpful and communicative.

We had the most wonderful stay here! The cottage was perfect for me and my family. We instantly felt at home when we arrived. Location is very peaceful over looking horses in the field opposite. The cottage had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and everything had been done to a high standard. Fresh flowers and music playing when we arrived was a lovely touch as well! 10 out of 10! Would come back and stay again and again.

Gorgeous stay for a few days with friends. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you should need, very clean and so cosy with beautiful views and a huge garden. It’s such a peaceful location with birds and resident ducks! We took bikes and cycled to the nearest pub - there are a few good ones a short distance away. We also swam at Pool Bridge which isn’t to be missed! We had a lovely time and Claire was friendly and helpful with all communications. It was also lovely to meet her and Andy, and their cute dogs who came to say hello by the fence. We wouldn’t hesitate to re-book. It was a really lovely stay in beautiful surroundings.
