Garden Cottage Ayr close to Beach and Golf Courses

Wonderful museum artistic decor, very clean, personal amenities, bread, coffee/tea/ cereal/ yogurt, fruit. Private, library quiet, walking distance to restaurants, bus, 10 minute walk to train station. I came back to the nicest, most elegant place I have rented out of more than a dozen through Airbnb.
A modern wooden cabin is set against a backdrop of rolling green hills. Large glass windows reflect the sunlight, while a private hot tub and outdoor seating are visible in the foreground, surrounded by well-kept grass and trees.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Lodge. The Lodge itself was exactly as it is pictured and exceeded our expectations. The views were incredible and we would love to come back and stay again. A truly lovely weekend break.

#1 Country Escape with Sea Views, Ayr, Ayrshire

JillianRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Claire was a warm and welcoming host who made us feel like old friends. Check-in was seamless, and the cottage was cozy, spotless, and set in one of the most breathtaking locations we’ve ever experienced. The address was a little tricky for taxis, but we found it easily ourselves. We traveled in by ferry from Belfast, which was scenic but a bit of a trek — next time, we’d recommend flying into Glasgow and renting a car for a smoother arrival. That said, once we made it to the cottage, it felt like stepping into a peaceful postcard. A group of cows lounged on the hill behind us for our entire stay — like calm, gentle neighbors. Sheep grazed right outside our door, and we passed horses along the road each time we came and went. I even managed to get our car stuck in the driveway ditch for a day, and still couldn’t complain. That’s how peaceful and restorative this place is. The stillness in Ayr is unmatched. Waking up to ocean views and the quiet rhythm of rural life was pure magic.
A high-backed white bar stool with wooden legs sits at a black countertop, overlooking a large window framed by soft, light-grey curtains. A stylish wall clock with a black face and Roman numerals adorns the wall nearby, while a lush green garden provides a natural backdrop.

Perfect place to get away! House was very tidy and I travelled to Scotland from the South West due to unforeseen circumstances and the team really helped me offering an early check in so we could make a funeral! Nothing but praise thank you!
A kitchen countertop is arranged with a bottle of wine, a set of jars containing various ingredients, and a packet of tea cakes. A dish towel with a red and white checkered pattern is neatly folded in the foreground, alongside kitchen knives and an electric hob.

Country Cottage on Private Estate

AnnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay in the restful surroundings of the Monkwood Estate at RoseCottage. The accommodation was spacious and clean. All the amenities were high quality and we wanted for nothing. Our host was proactive and friendly. There is lots to do in the neighbourhood and this was a great base; we could not fit it all in. We’d love to come back.
