A beautiful house within walking distance of Barbizon village. The garden was pristine and a wonderful spot for breakfast. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and the house had lovely nooks for relaxing with a book. Helen was very responsive and the guide left at the house included all the necessary information. We hope to return.

Jean Yves and Sandrine were very responsive and hosted us perfectly when we had a car breakdown on the way and therefore had to delay our arrival. The breakfast offered is generous and we enjoyed the fresh bread in the morning. The spacious and well-equipped accommodation is a very good surprise. A quick note for Lol, a very playful and friendly dog who participates in the excellent quality of the welcome. We recommend it and will be happy to come back if we have a chance.

Jessica and her children's house was perfect for our stay with friends. The children had plenty to enjoy outside (trampoline, swing, balls, etc.) or inside (board games, extra-ordinary game room). Adults also around the spacious terrace, cozy living room and quality barbecue (not to mention the jacuzzi). Jessica was a very considerate and accommodating host, even by interposed messages. The 5 adults, 3 children and baby who were present during this stay ALL recommend a stay in Poligny :-)!

We had a great time, I was a little apprehensive about the fact that the accommodation was on the owners' property and frankly 10/10 the hosts were very responsive, discreet, everything was thought of as it should be, we were able to enjoy the whole garden and a small area with the minimum of overlooking was available, the pool water was very good. We'll be back. 🙂

Our stay at Laure and Frédéric's place was great. The farmhouse is nice and the location was very quiet. Perfect for breathing in transit!

A quality airbnb!! First of all we were impressed by the cleanliness and size of the accommodation!!! The bedding is great! The layout of the terrace guarantees you privacy!! You feel right at home right away!!! Philippe is available and the instructions are clear!! Highly recommended!!!

Many people come climbing to Fontainebleau, it's world famous, but they don't realise that much of the best stuff is further south, Dame Jaune, Trois Pignons, Elephant, Cul de Chien this makes a great base for those. For cyclists, not into steep mountains its a dream, rides along the river valleys, beautiful villages, lovely cafes. Walks in the forest, this is on the door step of it all. If you want fantastic patisseries, bars along a river, excellent food, Nemours is a great place and the house is a 10 minutes walk for fresh croissants and an excellent Italian deli. Trains to Paris, easy. Orleans easy drive, Fontainebleau itself short drive or train . The house itself is secure, lovely big garden, safe for younger kids. Well appointed, everything you could need to cook a large meal, great cleaning facilities for clothes, dishes etc, excellent storage facilities, comfortably holds 4. Hot water a plenty for showers. Just a great host and experience. We will be back.

Great stay at Caroline's, we are very happy to have been able to recharge in this very peaceful little village. The house is very cute, clean and well-equipped, a little + for the sunny garden with morning coffee! ☕️ I would recommend it 100%

We had a lovely stay at Fabrice's place. The house has a modern kitchen with everything you could need. Bathroom and bedrooms excellent. The house and garden is situated on the river Loigne and is very private. The surrounding nature is beuautiful . The garden is enormous. There is a canoe and a kayak you use. It is difficult to describe how nice the house and surrounding is, we will certainly be back !

When we arrived back at the Gîte de La Gervaise from our beautiful bike trip on the Loire, it was almost like arriving home. We enjoyed the two days there in the best weather in peace. Thanks again. Sylvia and Luc for the great hospitality and especially for the opportunity to safely park our car in the yard during our 10-day bike trip. If we vacation in the region again, Gîte de La Gervaise is the first address.

A wonderful and convenient place to stay. The town is beautiful and the house is perfect!

We had a wonderful time at Matthias and Julie’s place. It’s spotless, comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, the village is peaceful and friendly with the sound of birdsong and scents of honeysuckle and roses all around. We were there to boulder and it’s an easy wander into the beautiful forest to reach the rocks. The local Carrefour carries the basics and there’s a good market on Fridays. We made daily visits to the boulangerie. Our hosts suggested La Papote for dinner - it’s a 30 minute stroll away and absolutely worth it. We hope to stay again.
