Perfect Downtown Ely House. New!

Anne’s place was perfect. Nicely decorated with modern finishes while still keeping that old Ely charm. Comfortable furniture and beds with a large table for family dining. Our family of four had plenty of room to come together or be on our own. Stocked kitchen. The home is quiet and comfy with so many restaurants and stores with walking distance. Anne was a responsive and welcoming host. Can’t recommend enough!

Great cabin with access to the lake, nearby gas/bait on the water and a fish cleaning station in the boat house. Would recommend to anyone!

Cozy cabin on private island

First, Neil is an incredible communicator! Second, I was looking for a place of solitude in an ever-crazy world. Loon Island is EXACTLY that. It's a place that can be whichever you prefer, a wonderful place to stay all week without outside influences, or a basecamp for excursions to explore the Northwoods and towns. Amazing sunrises AND sunsets! Only significant sounds are waves hitting the island shore and nature. And, because it's all contained on an island, there is less chance for undesirable wildlife interactions. Caught walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie and rusty crayfish! Ate fish and crayfish! I love this place! Only critical comment is, Neil provides a 14ft boat and 4hp motor (both worked well), but there is not a good place at the island to manage a larger private boat. I wish there were. However, the arrangement with the nearby resort worked fine. Slight inconvenience, but was glad there was a solution/work-around. Definitely would stay again!

Three Lakes Cabin

We loved the Three Lakes Cabin! It had all the amenities listed and more. It was very cozy and warm, the way a cabin should be, with super comfy beds you’ll never want to leave. It’s also close to many beautiful lakes for some fishing or just touring around. Communication was wonderful and the hosts were very dedicated to making sure our stay was perfect. We’re already planning our next stay!

Ely's Historic State Theater Loft

The apt was VERY clean and nice. It is decorated perfectly. We were really impressed with how nice and spotless it is. I never walk around without shoes on and I did here. It's in a great location, close to everything in town. The theater downstairs is very nice also. Enjoyed watching Deadpool vs Wolverine. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Amazing space. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Tons of amazing adventures and hikes close by. Super relaxing, remote, would love to come back! You can tell the owners really cared about this space it is absolutely beautifully done down to the little details.

Cozy 4 Bedroom house with patio.

We used the space primarily as for sleeping and place to get cleaned up after/before each day. We have family in town without room to house everyone. So our needs may not be the same thing others are seeking. The kitchen itself is adequate and the large fridge freezer would meet most families needs for storage. There was a lower level window AC that cooled that level nicely. The upstairs was a little more stuffy, but with windows open and a box fan running, it cooled down nicely for sleeping. The bedrooms were good sized and having 2 bathrooms with a tub/shower and a shower met our needs for a place to sleep, clean up. The location just a block off the main road provides easy walking access to shops and restaurants. That would be very attractive to many people. For people wanting the full stay experience with meals and leisure time the place would meet their needs. Would definitely recommend this place for the location and pricing. Suzanne was a good and gracious host!

This is a lovely cabin & was very much enjoyed by our family, which included 3 young children. There were a couple of unexpected treats as well: s’more supplies which we enjoyed by the fire ring & a case of locally brewed root beer in the fridge. Our host was very responsive. Highly recommend!
