Gavin’s small little bedsit was the perfect space for 1 or 2 adults, close to Cascade Brewery and Mt Wellington. It was super clean, the bed was comfy and the small garden was active with bird life and views of the mountain. Although the unit is located at the bottom of where the owners live, it is private with your own space.

We loved our stay. The Hive far exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were great communicators and very helpful and kind. The place was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, generously provisioned and the beds and seating were comfortable. It was a delight to sit up in bed in the morning, or in the lounge room looking out over the bush. The location is great, close to Hobart, Kingston and the Huon A car is essential for exploring. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

And, well it’s fair to say that the home completely exceeded our expectations when we seen it in real life…and thats saying something! Kristy was so responsive and not just with questions about the home. She gave me recommendations for the best local op shops and best beaches! Honestly dont think we will ever top this stay!
