Atelier an enchanting French studio

Atelier was inspired by painting holidays in France. It is a spacious studio at Hylands providing a base for escape, rest and adventure. It is cosy with a wood burner, uses high quality materials throughout, curated with love and care. Surrounded by beautiful gardens to explore, where you can dine al fresco or just sit and watch the wildlife and the ever changing views. It's 12 minutes walk to Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes to our local pub, the 'Riflemans Arms'.

Located in a quiet cul du sac in the historic market town of Kendal with convenient access to the M6, Lake District & Yorkshire dales. The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or a 4 minute walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. Hunker down with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a King sized bed and cosy log burner. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the private fire pit area. Guests can book a sauna & organic cold water pool session less than a 5 minute walk away.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

Kendal Retreat with heating and plumbed en suite!

Lovingly restored 1965 Retreat with proper loo, shower, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi! King size bed with linen, towels and toiletries provided. Fully equipped for 2 . Snuggle into The Tipi and soak up the view, make suppers in the the pizza oven or BBQ or huddle around the firepit and cook over the embers. Discover the walled pond and private jetty or wander down the lane to The Pub. Magical! PS: the caravan is compact with limited headroom - the high+mighty will need to duck!

Pretty cottage, quiet location in view of the River Kent. All amenities walking distance with regular access to the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Kendal Castle minutes away, a nearby hotel offers pool and gym. Kendal hosts Brewery Arts Centre, one of leading arts centres in the UK. Parking is in front of the house. Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.

The Nook at 105 is a new conversion tucked away in the quiet village of Oxenholme. Our property is only a short walk to Oxenholme train station which gives easy access to the Lake District National Park. Guests will have use of their own private space in the garden and are able to go on local walks over The Helm or to the local pub. Our accommodation is a perfect base for exploring the historic town of Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale and the rest of the Dales too.
