2020/21 we completely renovated the old farmhouse of my grandparents with a lot of passion and attention to detail and converted the lower floor into a large vacation rental. In our old quarry stone house in Monschau-Höfen, up to four nature lovers, hiking friends or recreational vacationers can now find their place to feel good. The property is only partially suitable for children under 1 year of age. I ask for a preliminary request. You can park right at your doorstep in the large yard.

On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. It's located right at the entrance of the historic city center with many culinary offerings and is the perfect starting point for excursions into nature. Located directly at the national park gate, beautiful hikes (e.g. Eifelsteig, Wildnistrail) or enjoyable bike tours can be enjoyed from here. In summer, the nearby outdoor swimming pool offers the necessary refreshment. For everyday needs, there are various shopping facilities, all within walking distance. In the middle of nature and yet central (not far from Aachen, Eupen, Maastricht, Liège) We rent a 70 m² apartment with a separate entrance on our farm (Eynattener Mühle), consisting of a large living-dining kitchen, a large bedroom, a small living-bedroom (single bed 185 x 85 cm), a bathroom. There is room for 3 adults and 1 baby (crib available). An outdoor seating area, directly by the Göhle, is available for our guests.

While the Ecluse Simon has been completely renovated to offer all modern comforts, no structural transformation has been carried out in this house registered with the Walloon Regional Heritage.
