There is a Yumichi Morning Cafe on site, and if you book at least the day before, you can eat for 1,300 yen (including consumption tax). It is 1,500 yen with a drink. We are closed in winter. Nearby, about 10 minutes by car, there is Mitsui's Forest, Tateshina Country, and Tateshina Tokyu Golf Course. Fujimi Panorama, Royal Hill, and Twin One Ski Resort are about 20 minutes away by car. It is also an ideal base for climbing at the foot of Yatsugatake. There is also a 7-Eleven, coin laundry and restaurant within a 1-minute walk. JA Pia Midori Supermarket is a 2-minute drive away. Hot springs nearby include Jomon-no-Yu and Shiokama-no-Yu. It is refreshing because of its location at an altitude of 1000 m. The host is always available, so please ask if you have any questions. You can also walk to the bus stop. Kayano Station is a 10-minute drive. Suwa Interchange is 9.4 km and 15 minutes away by car. It is very convenient, but it is comfortable like returning to a peaceful country house. We will reduce the price for 5 or more people. Please ask me about any of these services. Since it is a mountain forest, there are insects, but we carefully control insects in the guest house. Please understand if they enter during your stay. If you are not good with insects, etc., I think you will have a little resistance, so please book with that in mind. In winter, it gets below freezing around here. Please note that the heating facilities in this guest house are mainly kerosene stoves and kerosene fan heaters. We also have electric appliances, but if you use too much, the safety device will work (smart meter) and the electricity in the house will flash, so please do not use a lot of electric appliances at once. An earth leakage meter is also installed. If the electricity flashes, please reduce the use of electricity.(Also, please contact us about rural living experiences, etc. We do our best to disinfect and clean after guests leave to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

A 1000 square meter private villa with 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We offer each "way of spending time". After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
