If you are looking for an amazing traditional style ryokan in a beautiful and quiet location with a brilliant onsen for up to 2 people, you are in the right place. Staying here felt very relaxing and good for the soul, and the food was very delicious and also a very interesting experience. The place felt huge for two people, and so clean and comfortable. Megumi was also a really great host.

施設が新しいこともあり非常に綺麗で掃除も行き届いていて良かった。 11ヶ月の子供も連れての宿泊だったが施設が綺麗だったのと危険な障害物も少なく子供を安心して遊ばせておく事ができた。自然豊かな場所なので仕方ないが2階のテラスに出た時、出入り口に蜘蛛の巣が張ってある事があるので気になる人は注意が必要です。調味料食器などもしっかり揃っているので安心して滞在できました。また機会があれば宿泊したいです。

We had a brief but very relaxing and peaceful stay here. Jun and Kimi are lovely people and the whole place has their kind and warm energy within it. Jun has some fascinating historical facts to share on the area if you are interested, and Kimi makes stunning crystal jewellery. Highlights were their delicious food, the gentle ambient music playing, the beautiful view to the lake from the dining room, the private bath with pure spring water from nearby and the comfy pillows. Only downside was that the mattresses were a little on the thin side for us but I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you both for a very memorable stay.

We loved our time in this traditional Mishima home. The house is full of classic Japanese charm and very comfortable. Our host was incredibly kind—preparing delicious homemade meals and taking us to see local sites we wouldn’t have found on our own. Their warmth and hospitality made the trip truly special. Highly recommended!
