The Wee Bothy. Amazing sunsets

A quaint and unique place to get away from it all, this warm and comfortable bothy is nestled between the sea and the spectacular Trotternish ridge. Perfectly located for the discerning explorer, the best of Skye's sights are a short stroll or drive away, including The Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, Staffin Beach and the dino footprints at Brother's Point. The bothy is fully-equipped and receives regular 5* reviews. A perfect place to unwind and watch a beautiful sunset after a day's exploring.

Cabin on Cairn Geal Croft, Waternish, Isle of Skye

A cosy, open-plan cabin for two on the Waternish peninsula, overlooking the sea with outstanding views across Loch Snizhort to the ferry port of Uig, and south to Raasay and the mainland. The Cabin is on a small croft/farm and lies within its own garden. The Cabin has a maritime theme, free wifi, plenty of books & maps and a well provided kitchen. The Waternish peninsula offers abundant wildlife, and in the hamlet of Stein, next to the sea, a lovely old pub and a Michelin starred restaurant .

The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these cosy wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts are an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Locheynort Creag Mhòr

Brand new for 2020, this chalet is a luxury hideaway in the heart of South Uist. The chalet is set in a stunning location, nestled snugly amongst the hills of Locheynort on the shoreline of a breath-takingly beautiful bay. The chalet is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and is also an excellent spot from which to explore the neighbouring islands, either by car across causeways or by taking ferry journeys to Barra in the south or Harris/Lewis in the north.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. The Isle Of South Uist, part of the Western Isles and located just south of Benbecula, is nothing short of breathtaking presenting stunning, scenery, natural and historic landscape, unrivalled outdoor access and diverse wildlife. This renovated Thatch Cottage is situated in a lovely area of the north end of South Uist and offers a quiet and peaceful location and is ideal for a very relaxing holiday.

Cosy, modern cottage only a walk from silver sands

Garramor Cottage is a modern, one bedroom house . The living room is bright and airy with french doors leading out to the deck and woods beyond. Surrounded by trees, it is a very calm and peaceful setting. It is a 5 mile drive to Mallaig where you can get the ferry across to Skye. Local beaches such as Camusdarach Beach with their white sands are great to explore and just a short walk away.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
