We had a wonderful stay - everything was in perfect condition and exactly as described. The kitchen is well laid out and functional, and we loved all the natural light from the windows and skylights. Dorothy was a lovely host and highly communicative. We thought the location was convenient about 5 minutes away from Broadford and 35 minutes from Portree. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Portree with Mary. Easy to find, Mary greeted us when we arrived. The location is perfect - gorgeous views, away from downtown, but still an easy , short walk to the restaurants and shops. The flat was immaculate, with very comfortable beds, fresh fruit and , and breakfast supplies. It’s the perfect place in Portree to explore the Isle of Skye

Taigh Geal Apartment

This place was amazing. Very close to Portree, bear in mind you need a car to get there as the highway into town is not 100% safe to walk along. We got around with Fast Cabs and it was super easy. Sue’s apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The shower is a highlight with lots of space and nice hot water after a day of hiking. Totally recommend.

Cozy Cottage in Scalpay

A wonderful peaceful house in beautiful surroundings in the Outer Hebrides. The house is well equipped and perfect for two couples on holiday together. Waking up every morning with the sea literally lapping at the door was idyllic. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean and modern and the house is very comfortable. Scalpay is close to Tarbert for provisions and the North Harbour bistro is walkable and serves outstanding seafood. Hard to fault this remote hideaway with nature on your doorstep. We all loved it and will return!

I had a beautiful three night stay here. The accommodation, I think, is better than the pictures make out. The view is incredible. I felt immediately at home and could have stayed for longer. The space is comfortable, and has all the amenities listed. Plus the shower is great. A great base for exploring the island. The only thing I would say is that it is quite tricky to find. You might want to message the host before you arrive to ensure that you have directions that will take you to the accommodation. That being said, Joanna was *very* helpful, very responsive and helped me find my way to the right house! Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

Stunning sea view house Valtos

Mary & SteveRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We wish we could stay a month! Ella’s place was perfectly situated between the most beautiful spots on Skye. It felt like we were floating on a cloud when misty, there were adorable sheep nearby that were delightful to watch, and you could see Brother’s Point from the deck. We loved the little bench tucked away from the wind into the side of the hill. The view is just indescribable. Already sad to leave this little spot of heaven. Ella was thoughtful, providing us with recommendations, tips and even manuals and instructions for everything in the house (which helps if you’re not from the UK). Everything was spotless and well stocked. We were extremely comfortable sleeping and relaxing here. TV had streaming platforms, too, which my husband loved, and the coffee espresso machine was awesome. Best shower on our entire trip and washer/dryer was key for our long journey! Overall, Ella is the best host and thought of me on my 40th birthday, making it so special! Thank you, Ella!

Boutique 5* Apt. Beneath The Old Man of Storr

This was a fantastic place to stay - a haven at the end of a busy day. Much thought has been put into extra touches - treats in the fridge and cupboards, dressing gowns, high quality linen - and the outlook over Loch Lada is beautiful. The well equipped kitchen lends itself to cooking in. The appliances are new and we appreciated the supplies of washing powder and dishwasher tabs. We loved everything about this place!
An inviting lounge area features a flat-screen television mounted on the wall. A glass dining table with four metal chairs is positioned next to a modern electric fireplace. A cozy leather sofa and a decorative plant add warmth to the space.

Our stay at Marie's flat was perfect in every way - from the lovely welcome pack to the very thorough guide book. She was very quick to respond to questions, friendly and kind. The flat itself is in a perfect location for the HebCelt Festival and for walking to Lews Castle, the ferry, or anywhere else in Stornoway. A real gem of a place! Would love to stay there again.

Lovely two bed flat with beautiful harbour views.

ChrisRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Stayed at Fiona's flat for two nights in June 2025. The apartment has lovely views of Mallaig Harbour so you can watch the boats coming and going and is just a short 5-10 minute walk from the town centre. The property was easy to find and access thanks to the clear instructions provided, and exceptionally clean. The flat is also very comfortable. Overall, we had an excellent stay and will most definitely return in the very near future.
