Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mystic, Stonington

The house was just what we wanted for our trip to Mystic. The home was well maintained and clean. The kitchen seemed newly remodeled. The deck was very nice for socializing around the fire table. The family had ample, comfy sitting space for everyone. The owners were very nice and responsive. Highly recommended!

Patrick and Tracy were wonderful to rent from and the house was great. We had 5 adults and everyone slept comfortably. The patio was a great experience with the pool, hot tub and great outdoor seating. We loved the area and would return in a heartbeat if the dates are open for next year’s trip.

Beautiful home with unique, antique charm. Lots of bathrooms and common spaces. Great place to stay with a large group!

Cathy was such a great host! Her home was lovely, beautiful location just outside Mystic. It was well-equipped, very clean and the beds were super comfy. When the weather heated up and we were struggling to master the a/c, Cathy’s husband sorted us out quickly. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely two-night stay at David's - it matched all of our expectations. The short walk to the Seaport Museum was perfect for our two young children. Space in the private backyard to play was a highlight along with the cozy and comfortable ambiance inside.

I went there to relax and to see and hear the ocean... it didn't disappoint... Not only sand and ocean waves, but I got a birds-eye view of a small members only marina (dealing mostly in sailboats). Plus the added enjoyment of watch boat traffic since we're close to NY and the islands. Plenty of beach to play on and constant sm wave action. Lots of restaurants, stores and Costco all within 15 minutes of the house if you need something. I would definitely return to enjoy this sanctuary. Sandy Y. Manchester CT

It was a really enjoyable stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and just a short walk to downtown mystic. We will definitely be back!

Joan and Chris' property was lovely. The pictures in the listing do not do this property justice. The view was gorgeous, beautiful and relaxing back yard and the sun room was gorgeous. The area was great, lots of things to do nearby. I would definitely stay here again, we very much enjoyed our visit.

Wow!!! This is the nicest airbnb I have ever stayed in. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by trees with lots of privacy. The cottage itself is immaculate (I’m very particular about cleanliness). The dining area is stunning with skylights and beautiful trees outside and great light! The hosts were also so welcoming and friendly, they included so many nice touches for my baby including a pack and play/travel crib, diaper changing area, and toys! I hope to stay here again every time we come to this area!

Such a cute place. Perfect location. Exposed beams are beautiful. Everything within walking distance. If shower pressure is a hot button, you won't get any better than here. We would add blackout curtains for those who are not early risers and taller living room furniture for those of us over 6 ft. BUT...you are not there a lot for it to be an issue. Would definitely return.

Josh's is place was great and he was incredibly helpful and kind! As described on his listing, some noise does come in from local bars nearby but it was quiet by the time we were ready to go to bed and the comfort of the home, the spaciousness, and the view made up for it. Would stay again!

This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable, unit. We particularly loved the living room couches, pillows, and blankets! So comfy and cozy. The 2 upstairs bedrooms and baths are both very spacious, great for a gathering of 2 adult couples. The lower level bedroom with twin beds is super cute, a great extra space for visitors or kids. The location was also very nice - very peaceful and quiet, but still close to downtown. One thing to be aware of - the stairs up to the unit are pretty narrow and steep. One of us had a heavy suitcase that was pretty hard work to get up the stairs. And the laundry is in the unfinished basement, down the same type of steep stairs. There are plenty of dishes, glasses etc, but there’s just a few Keurig cups provided for coffee, and no sugar, cream, or other basics like salt and pepper - that was different from other Airbnb’s we’ve been too. We had to buy a citrus juicer for cocktails, and left it for future guests 😊

Beautiful setting with private gardens to wander and explore. Every time we went out for a stroll we found something new to admire. Sue has a beautiful property and she’s a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful stay!! The lock was stuck upon check-in but the host called us (it was the middle of the night) and walked us through getting it open. She was so friendly and helpful! The place itself was perfect. Great kitchen, sleeping areas, clean and wonderfully decorated. Even with the lock issue, this was a 5 star stay and we have absolutely no complaints. We had 3 people and we felt like we had plenty of room. It’s also right down the street from the Mohegan Sun!!! So perfect place to stay if you want to visit the resort. You can’t get a better location. Also very quiet area.

This was just what we needed for our ten year anniversary weekend escape! It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun with the spa, golf course, and Mohegan Sun only five minutes away with restaurants and shows galore. A gem of a place. Very communicative hosts as well. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this stunning lake house was nothing short of amazing. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake that instantly set the tone for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Cleanliness was top-notch—the entire place was spotless and clearly very well cared for. We loved how quiet and serene the surroundings were; it felt like our own private retreat away from the noise and rush of everyday life. Mornings spent sipping coffee on the deck and kayaking over the water by the backyard lake were highlights of our trip. Whether you're looking to unwind, connect with nature, or simply enjoy some peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this lake house is the perfect place. We’re already dreaming of our next visit and would recommend it without hesitation.

This place was perfect for my trip to the CT Barber Expo!! 3 minutes away from Mohegan sun which was perfect !! Super beautiful community peaceful clean and quiet. Truly found high class top tier spot for this trip . I’m beyond happy with my choice and would definitely pick this place again next year !!

We had a great stay at Nicole’s villa. It was very clean and well kept. She was very responsive to all communication. Overall Nicole’s villa was a great little gem close to the casino yet away from the noise!

Cute and cozy space for the 4 of us! The house was great to accommodate our family and this weekend’s events. Jana was a wonderful host, very responsive and proactive to a local power grid outage and made sure we were taken care of throughout the afternoon until power was restored. Very flexible in letting us check in an hour early as we arrived earlier than scheduled. Overall great experience and perfect host!

The hostess was very helpful and very responsive. The condo was as described and lovely for our family reunion. It was very clean, very comfortable and so welcoming. We were just a couple of minutes away from the Mohegan Sun casino. The area is beautiful. Highly recommend!
