It was a magical vacation. Very clean and bright house, great pool with mountain view. A complete feeling of harmony with nature. The house is perfectly designed, with very good thermal isolation. The best option - come by car. The house is located at some distance from the beach. The nearest beach is one of the best on the island. It is very long and therefore gives a great choice of umbrellas/loungers with a wide range of prices. Special thanks to the owner of the house. Orestis is a true professional. He is always on call. Very friendly and solves problems instantly.

First of all, the hosts were very friendly and friendly. It was a very suitable house for 1 family, the house has a single room with a double bed with stairs, there are no closed rooms. On the inside, the word describing best Xarikleia's place is "homey". Elegant, but in a discreet way, employing a lot of wood and recently renovated, decorated with style and an obvious (and welcome) personal touch. The front veranda is eastward-oriented, ample and with sea view, whereas both bedrooms have their own smaller balconies, westward-oriented so one who wants to just lay back in the sun (or shadow) can do so all day long. On the outside, the neighborhood is quiet, with large plots and well-distanced houses (although some development works suggest this may not be the case several years down the road). The small and private beach (like most are in this coastal region) is a 300 m walk. The entire area seems ideal for relaxation, hence I would expect it to be more attractive for people past certain age, looking for some isolation and solitude, rather than for music, shopping, restaurants, nightlife etc. Shopping, even for basic food staples, in Abdera, 20 km drive roundtrip.

Our host, Dimitri, is a very nice person. Check in was very late. He still greeted us. He prepared gifts for us. She always took care of us. She always asked if we needed it. Her place was spotless. Everything was well thought out, up to ear garbage. It felt like home. I'll recommend it to anyone.
