Our vacation home has a living area of 70 square meters. It is located on the outskirts of the climatic health resort of Westerheim at an altitude of 823 m. In the neighborhood are commercial enterprises, which, however, cause little noise. The house is completely fenced in at 150 cm high. Hiking trails lead directly from the house and in winter, when there is snow, a cross-country ski trail is also marked. For children there is a swing with a climbing pole. A bike and hiking trail runs directly on the property with garden for shared use, playgrounds within walking distance. The town center with grocery store, café and post office is 1.5 km away. Valleys with their heathland, ruins and caves are popular destinations, as is the biosphere center in Münsingen.

We rent an apartment with a bathroom and toilet on the first floor of our house. The bedroom has a large double bed (2 × 2 m). There is also space for a children's travel bed. Adjacent is the bathroom with large shower and separate toilet. Next door is a large living room with a sofa bed as another sleeping option, TV and a cozy dining area. A fully equipped kitchen and washing machine are also available.

Bertha's stay

This 1-room apartment with a very quiet location in Hochdorf is accessible through a separate entrance. It features a double bed (140) with TV, a well-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, two hotplates, toaster and mini oven. The separate bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The apartment has a small terrace in the countryside.
