Mooie camping met goeie ambiance. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De tour die je kan boeken via appartement is goed geregeld met een leuke gids die veel informatie deelt over de dieren en de natuur. Zeker een aanrader. Heerlijk eten onder de sterrenhemel of wanneer bewolkt romantisch onder knusse overkapping

Samith was extremely helpful and responsive. The hotel is beautiful and we chose to stay in the stylish wooden beach chalets. As an eco lodge, there is no air conditioning but the fans and chalets were perfectly cool. There is also no heated water but so the showers are warmer in the afternoon on a hot day but cold all day if it’s a cloudy day! Kalpitiya is very windy, and therefore, a great destination for kite surfing which was really fun, even for a beginner! It is a great alternative if you want some peace and quiet. The food was fantastic, especially if you happen to be there for their bbq nights which has seasonal produce including fresh fish, squid, prawns, chicken etc. The only slight criticism is that some stretches of beach are littered with plastic, which is common to other parts of Sri Lanka, although it is clear that the hotel has made efforts to go green and I would thoroughly recommend it!

A very special and lovely property that is very unique and memorable. We stayed 3 nights, visited Wilpattu, and enjoyed the lovely service. The only drawback is the incessant mosquitoes. We were paranoid about closing doors and using sprays and mats but they were everywhere and hard to avoid. Would advise the host to fumigate frequently and replace the bed nets. One AC needs to be fixed/replaced. Other than that, a wonderful stay!

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Der Strand der Anlage war herrlich und das Wasser war sehr angenehm, so dass wir schwimmen konnten. Es gibt eine Karte mit Speisen. Wir haben Gimentha aber gefragt, wir lokale Speisen haben könnten und uns überraschen lassen. Es war die richtige Entscheidung, auch wenn die spätere Gesamtabrechnung eher höher ausgefallen ist. Wir würden uns aber wieder so entscheiden. Vielen Dank an Gimentha und Familie.

Wir waren 2 Tage in der Unterkunft von Nayan und ich würde sofort wieder dorthin zurückkehren! Es ist idyllisch und ruhig und man ist an einem wunderschönen Strand! Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich und die ganze Anlage ist ein Traum! Pradeep hat uns ein wunderbares Abendessen organisiert und uns, wenn wir Hilfe brauchten sofort geholfen!

Het verblijf was echt fantastisch goed geregeld. Alle medewerkers zijn super vriendelijke en willen je overal bij helpen. Ik waande me als hun enige gast, zoveel aandacht kreeg ik. Strand is dichtbij, prachtige plek voor een zonsondergang op eerste rang. Het eten is vers en goed bereid. Genoeg ruimte om te doen wat je wilt. Aan een ieder aan te raden.

We really loved it here and stayed longer than expected. beautiful extraordinary sunset views and large maintained gardens with palm trees loads of shade wooden loungers wonderful large clean swimming pool. A 20 minute walk into the nearest town or 5 minute tuktuk.. market stalls nearby. altogether a great finish to our winter sun trip. thank you.

Villa Escape to tranquility -Closer to nature

This was a little slice of paradise for our family. It was very relaxing and quiet. Sharmila was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. The caretaker, Sunil, was present a lot, and went out of his way to make us comfortable. If he noticed anything that needed done, he didn't ask, but stepped up and took care of the glass or dish one of my children left around the house. This is a place that is in nature, with lots of bugs and mosquitoes, be aware of that. But you are in great hands with Sharmila. She even called the local hospital to find a pediatrician when my daughter didn't feel well for a day. Excellent home, excellent host. I would recommend this stay for anyone needed a bit of rest and relaxation.
