Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mpatsi

We have just spent 5 sensational nights at this stunning 17c villa located right in the centre of the beautiful Chora in Andros. Convenient, on the quiet end of the main pedestrianised street running down to the old harbour. It is a lovely historic house with a particularly nice sitting area full of light, good books, and very comfortable. Quality bed linen, comfortable beds, quality furnishings in keeping with the villa style, full kitchen (which we did use some nights after a long lunch) - incredibly clean and a on hand ‘Auntie Theodora’ to run thru any queries we had. We were a great of old friends - 5 adults and the house was perfect! Couldn’t have been more perfect. Andros is off the tourist track - we spend 6 months a year in Greece and this was our first visit to Andros and we will be back! Restaurants are good quality and they don’t appear to be ‘tourist wary’ as so many are on the Greek Islands. Two standouts were FODO in Livadia and ZARDIS patisserie for cake and ice cream.

Thyme house is a little piece of heaven, beautiful home with everything you need and more. Very off the beaten track, a car is recommended , but once up the challenging ( but manageable) drive you are in another world. The quiet will astound and captivate you in equal measure, the view never bores and is an ever changing vista of nature and wild beauty. If you want a real get away from the stresses of life then this place is perfect. We were here out of ‘season’ so less ‘things’ were open but this only added to the allure; peace, quiet and relaxing in a real haven. Fellos beach is beautiful and you could walk to it if you were so inclined- we weren’t! Although we did have a swim which was bracing and invigorating. Malamati is responsive and helpful and Katerina is lovely - thank you .

Great and spatious house with a huge terrace and a splendid view to the sea and the hills Everything was wonderful. Just one thing: A car (preferably a jeep) is needed because the house is located on a steep hill, which makes the view even greater.

The house was big and very clean, close to the sea and the surrounding shops, and Mrs. Magdalene was very kind and hospitable. Willing to help us with any questions we might have!

The perfect house. It was the only house we've ever stayed in and had everything. In particular, the kitchen was fully equipped! It was also very well oriented and the lovely balcony was protected from the air. Batsi just 7 minutes away by car. Perfect location for the west coast of Andros, which are more protected from the beaufort of the north Thank you so much for your hospitality, and we will definitely come back because Andros is an island with surprises and countless things to see!

Lovely house, George and Marialena did a fantastic job with the house. We felt like we were living in our home all the time. The home's amenities were greater than we expected. Thank you so much for everything.

A sweet neoclassical house, ideal for anyone who wants to stay in Chora. It is very easy to find on foot from the house to the museum, the pedestrian street and all the sights of Chora. It's also easy to park around the house. I highly recommend it.

I've stayed in about 40 Airbnb homes, this is the best! Brilliant, friendly host who collected us at the docks. The apartment is superbly equipped, had everything! Loads of space and a wonderful terrace with great views and shade. Very highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Nektarios’s villa! It felt like a home away from home. He made sure that we had everything we needed, especially since we had our 2yr old with us. The pool and views were amazing! Could easily have stayed here longer. Bonus points for the endless clean towels! 😃

We had the most wonderful stay at Ursula’s villa, we didn’t want to leave! We were there as a family and the two different living areas meant there was plenty of space for all of us…there are so many beautiful places to sit and take in the views. The pool was fantastic too. The location is close to Gavrio which is great for trips to the supermarket/bakery but as it’s up in the hills, so you can still enjoy peace and quiet. Very well located for Fellos beach and Vitali on the other side of the island. Would highly recommend staying here, thanks Ursula.

A perfect place for a perfect island getaway If you’re looking for the perfect spot to relax and recharge, this is the place! The house is beautifully designed, with great attention to detail and a true island vibe. The pool is amazing – the ideal place to enjoy the sun and the peaceful surroundings. Everything was spotless and exactly as shown in the pictures, if not better. The location couldn’t be better: close to everything but still quiet and private. It’s the perfect balance of style, comfort, and relaxation. Highly recommended – I would definitely come back!

We had a great time in a wonderful house. It is very privately located. Another house is located above it on the slope - but this was not occupied at the time of our trip. We traveled with six people and had a total of four double rooms and three bathrooms available. One of them is on the first floor. On the first floor, the layout is extremely spacious with a very well-equipped and functional kitchen. The house has a magnificent terrace, a wonderful garden and a magnificent swimming pool. It was pleasantly fresh, but not too cold. Everything makes a very neat and sparkling clean impression. We were in constant contact with the landlady and she always responded very helpfully to any questions within minutes. There are beautiful beaches nearby and good restaurants to discover on the island. Here, too, the tips were really valuable. Ideally, you need a rental car. In short, really great!

amazing spot on andros - slightly away from the port etc but really quaint and a great place for a larger group balcony area kitchen etc super good and equipped great communication with host, we had a little confusion finding the place as there is another area also called agios petros - but Padelis was communicative and we got there eventually

There was more going on on the island than expected, for 10 people you have to reserve a tavern in Batsi and self-contained beaches in the west are quite crowded, only in the south east it gets quieter. There is also relatively a lot of traffic to the house, because you can hear something. (in addition to the noisy beach music). The house itself is perfect, fantastic views, a very large outdoor area, tasteful furnishings and from the beds to the seating ideal for 10 people. Alexander is very responsive and very helpful. Nine minutes steeply down on foot is a beautiful beach and a nice tavern.

We loved this home! My friends and I stayed here for a few nights and it was perfect. We all loved it. The only thing is it is a bit far from the beach and the towns so I would recommend getting a car.
